11:00 at night At price chopper. When I went in I asked the woman in the front if they took checks because I got there and forgot my wallet but had my check book and license. she said yes. I shopped for about 35 min. Then when I got to the front and tried to use the check they asked for my price chopper card. I didnt have it so they looked it up with my license. Then some guy said if you havent used a check at Price chopper in the last two weeks you have to go to customer service to be re-activated. Customer service is not open so no you cant use a check. Lame lame lame.

The good: Great produce, seafood and flowers, with competitive prices. Staff willing to custom trim meat, steam or fry seafood, and assist with loading groceries into customers cars (a true kindness for the elderly or disabled), all free of charge. The bad: Its a mini-super-market, so its cramped and the selection is often poor. All staff are friendly, but some are more professional than others.

This is a decent grocery store with a selection thats similar to other Price Chopper stores. And, as with other Price Choppers, you need an "Advantage" card or the prices are very high. They do have a small sit-down eating area in the front of the store, which is unusual. No fresh sushi here, but they do have a good-sized bakery and a lot of local beers in the cooler.

This is an ice cream store with a good parking lot. Price Chopper often does buy one get one buy one get two free sales and their prices are hard to be even without coupons.

My favorite grocery store. I know where everything is, and you can get basically anything here (flowers, fried fish, and jalapeño poppers)
