As a customer, I anticipated great ideas but I was sadly dissapointed. The connection was not there, prices are highly unrealistic (I was able to find another florist willing to accomodate what I wanted for a much lesser price with better quality flowers). She was unable to give me an idea of the floral pieces I would be purchasing and had basically nothing to offer me. I have viewed work from other weddings in which the Root System as been the vendor and that was an even more of an upset. After seeing a very dissapointed bride with her very own bridal boquet- I have very little faith in this florist- I reccommend you choose a cheaper, more realistic and appealable florist.

I have no idea where this woman was shopping, but it certainly was not here. I have nothing but good things to say about the people working there and the environment!! You pay for the quality you get and I certainly do not think any pricing I found to be outrageous. The flowers are fresh and last longer than anywhere I have ever been. If you go anywhere with a vague idea in mind, there isnt much anyone can help you with if you yourself dont know what you want. As for the weddings the root system has been a part of I havent seen anything to be disappointed with. This woman must have just been having a bad day. GREAT SERVICE... AMAZING FLOWERS!!!

I would highly recommend The Root System to any friend, or to anyone planning an event in Connecticut. Julie and her staff did an amazing job creating floral arrangements for our October wedding. They were absolutely stunning. The colors, and rustic details to accent were just beautiful. Julie was exceedingly flexible with the different changes we made throughout the process, and worked to keep us within our budget. She went above and beyond our expectations by dropping off the remaining centerpieces at a local retirement home. Thank you so much!
