Zero stars for theshoemart dot com. Do not buy from this place if there is any chance that you will need to return the shoes. - I bought a $120 pair of Cole Haan shoes. - They were too tight across the top of my feet. - I returned the shoes via their RMA return process. - I never got a refund, so I waited the 10 business days they claim for processing returns. - I called them on business day 11, and the customer service reps lied to me on the phone. They claimed to have sent me a message on why they couldnt refund my money. - Lie #1 - When I asked for the email they said to have sent, they couldnt produce it. - Lie #2 - I asked for a refund and they said they couldnt give me an exchange or a refund (everyone knows they just return shoes to the manufacturer for a credit). - Lie #3 - They called me back and offered me a 1 time exchange, but a refund was impossible. So, I filed a dispute/claim with Paypal (luckily I purchased through Paypal) - Paypal reviewed the issues from both sides. - Lie #4 - theshoemart dot com stated through the Paypal dispute they could do a 1 time refund of $66 on the $120 purchase. What a total lie - they could have made a full refund. The customer service department (which consists of 2 people) will talk down to you and continually lie to you about how the only thing they can do is send the shoes you dont want, back to you. They will act like they are doing you a favor in sending you back the shoes you dont want. Paypal reviewed my dispute and gave me a full refund. Never ever buy from this place. Cheers & good luck in buying your new shoes from Zappos or Amazon!

Very poor experience, especially with customer service. Do not believe their return policy as it is a lie. I returned a pair of Reebok because they did not fit correctly and have been notified that they will not accept them because they are in "worn condition". I wore these shoes for half a day INSIDE my house before deciding to return them because of the fit. I have been emailing with customer service who has been terrible unhelpful and rude and have been denied any contact information to discuss this further. I have also asked for visual proof of this "worn condition" which they have denied me as well. I would avoid this company if you are ordering a shoe for the first time and are nor sure if it will fit correctly, etc. Very disappointing as once of the reasons I ordered from them was their "Easy Returns Policy" they proudly boast about on their website.

Double disappointment! Like others this was not the worst experience, but I will not shop at Shoemart again. I ordered two pairs of shoes, both to give as gifts. One pair was expensive dress shoes and one pair casual boat shoes, both pairs received were slightly defective. Shipping speed was excellent and both pairs were delivered by FedEx within the week that I placed the order, unfortunately the second pair was delivered on an extremely rainy day and, although I was home, the deliverer did not ring the doorbell, nor was the box protected in anyway from the pouring rain. So, I am disappointed in the common sense of FedEx too. All shoes are returnable/refundable minus the shipping fee which I am still hoping to get back from Shoemart given the defects. At least the quick delivery gave me time to make alternate purchases from another vendor.

I purchased a pair of popular Sofft pumps from The Shoe Mart in August. The price was by far the best I could find by a good $30 because of a sale that they were having. Include the free shipping and lack of sales tax (I do not live in CT), and it was a no-brainer. The shoes arrived within a work week and they were in brand new, perfect condition. Unfortunately, I decided to return them, but that was very easy as well. I had to pay for return shipping, but I already knew that going into this purchase. I just received an e-mail that the shoes were returned and that my account was credited. I would definitely consider using them again.

I scoured the internet for a possible deal on an upper end pair of shoes; after dozens of websites The Shoe Mart, with a coupon, gave me the shoes for a price that wiped everybody else out. Had some trouble with the billing address but I called them up and they congenially handled it with tact. I am impressed, would definitely use again.

Mark, the Marketing Director, has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to choosing the proper sneakers for specific athletes from distance running to crossfit. Ive ordered multiple sneakers, loved each pair recommended, and they come incredibly fast. I couldnt be happier and will continue to shop here.

I stopped by here a few weeks ago to pick up a new pair of new Alden Indy Boots and had a great experience. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I also enjoyed looking at all the great deals on Alden seconds while i was there. I will purchase all of my Alden shoes from here in the future.

ordered some wallabees through shoe mart had to return the first pair because one of the shoes had a defect and just got my second pair and it looks like one of the shoes has been worn already never messing with this place again!!!!
