WOW, what a cluster,......................... I ordered a $6000 mattress (although this was on close out so still paid $2700 for it) and $3000 bedroom set with additional bedside table, Only thing i have seen to date is the mattress, MINUS the mattress pillow top that attaches to the bed, The furnitures was not delivered at the same time as the bed, I went to the store to complain and enquire about delivery of the outstanding items and also the pillow top, They assured me that the good would be delivered "White Glove Service" on Monday evening, I get a call from the "White Glove Service" provider on Monday afternoon claiming that BOTH of his trucks are out of service, one with a brake problem and the other with another issue, SO....no delivery,.........and the saga continues.........Its now Tuesday, and there is still no sign of the bedroom furniture or the topper...........I am now told that the "white glove service" is jerking around the staff at R&F (as well as the customer who is awaiting his merchandise- ME! ) and they are parting company with them. So they can do SATURDAY with the R&F driver...... I am trying to remain calm about this and this review I am sending to the CEO at R&F, If the staff were as focussed on getting the paperwork right, which is likely to be at the route cause of this particular issue, and not be overly focussed on closing the deal their rating would be higher than the lowly 2.7 it is now before i post this. I am a pretty tolerant guy but this has severely tested my patients and sense of Humour..........

Poor customer service. We have bought a dining room, living room, two bedroom sets, and a outdoor set from here. Always a good experience until this year. We bought a new outdoor set. $2500.00. 6 chairs, a table and umbrella. We also purchased the platinum protection plan. The umbrella broke. We called and we had to wait a week for them to credit us for a new one that we could claim in store. We had to email pictures and no one got back to us. We had to keep calling. Called the store but its out of stock cause its the end of summer. After asking what can we do cause all I really want is an umbrella, They said we could order it online if its still available, it is. Called online service, in order to claim our credit they would have to order to the store. Called the store again. They said they would call online services and get back to us. That was 8 hours ago. The store is closed now. No one got back to us. This is terrible customer service and I am really annoyed. I dont want a credit to the store. I want the umbrella that goes with the $2500 outdoor set that I bought 4 months ago. I always spoke very highly of raymour and now I am less likely to recommend them to anyone. I am very disappointed. I have worked in customer service for decades and you at least try to recommend a solution. In this case even after talking to the store manager, I feel as if its my problem to fix something that broke and that has a warranty on it. There needs to be a serious change before I would recommend this company to anyone again.

We first went to Raymour and Flanigan strictly looking and were greeted promptly at the door. I explained to Sajida Jaffery that this was a "look only" trip, but that we would be making a decision within the next few days. She was so very helpful, professional and very knowledgeable about the products we asked about. She loaned us her measuring tape and offered design options based on our room square footage and how it was laid out. When it came time to purchase, I called her the night before to ensure she would be at work and met her there. She knew what we wanted and verified it upon arrival. I love that she suggested the rug and the under rug (name eludes me). She was so very fast and efficient while explaining everything thoroughly. When we went to the customer service manager to finalize everything, the soonest delivery date would have been the 18th. She worked some magic and called me later that day with a Friday morning time window. I recommend Raymour and Flanigan and especially Sajida Jaffery as a sales 150% Professional. I purchased a recliner, end table, nesting tables, dining room table with chairs, server, sectional and mattresses. The recliner has to be replaced because of defects in workmanship. The second recliner is past its warranty period and the leather has become all discolored. A waste of money. The server after a year has a crack in the door. Defective merchandise. The mattress upon delivery had to be sent back as it was filthy. When the new one was delivered, the pillow top on one edge was severely compressed down. Another defect in product. Please be aware of their special promotions. (So many months without interest.) Somehow they work it so that all the purchases are not included in the promo. Therefore leaving one purchase with an interest rate of 29.9%. Also when making a payment, be sure to check to see if they are applying the payment correctly. There seems to be some discrepancies there. Overall, I will never step foot in that store again. Totally unhappy with the quality of their merchandise. One would expect furniture to last longer than a year or so. Does not deserve even 1 *.

this review might not necessarily have to do with this particular location, my experience shopping there, delivery etc was good, but whats mind blowing is their careless attitude after sale was done - I bought dining set, table was delivered, chairs backordered with expected delivery date in two weeks...no one called me/delivered chairs...so in 3 weeks I called them to find out that I need to wait for another couple weeks..obviously there is no guarantee with that either..their weak excuse that they dont get automatic notifications about delays and need to manually check each order - kidding me? - its 2016 and your system could be a bit more customer friendly..its gonna be great dining on the floor for a month.. and I guess management has "great" control over "in house" supply chain...shame

I am shocked at these reviews and all I can say is they stepped up their game. I was NEVER pressured. I visited multiple times and saw multiple sales people and they offered a kind greeting and allowed me to myself but were available when I needed them. I had delay after delay after delay with the closing of my condo and had already purchased a table but no home to put it in. Each time I called they extended the agreed time they would hold it. I am on my third extension. Not only did they extend it, they did it happily and kindly. As for the furniture, for the money, it is a nice fit in the middle. Well made and fairly priced. You get what you pay for and I think the value in their inventory is great.

I went to the Norwalk Raymour & Flanigan this afternoon (06/02/13, 2:30-3:00 P.M.) and the salesman gave out out water bottles to everyone except us, leaving my brother and I standing there awkwardly while the others noticed. He was an older gentlemen with gray hair. I was actually set on buying a bed set for my mother for approximately $1100-$1200, but after what happened I decided to cancel. I will probably go to Macys, Ashleys Furniture, Ikea etc... I have no problem spending more money elsewhere where I can at least receive quality service. I work for a mutual insurance company and our clients are our top priority. Will not be coming back to the Norwalk Raymour & Flanigan Furniture store.
