When I contacted them, I believe it was the owner who I spoke with, didnt sound very interested from the get go. He asked me a couple of questions about the furniture then said he didnt think it was anything he would be interested in, but send HIM pictures which I did. Now according to their write up, they said they come to your house and evaluate the items. Im in Plainview maybe 15 miles away, They couldnt just drop by and look? I received an email after he saw the pictures again he said it did not seem like anything he wanted but indicated he would take a look. I havent heard from him since. I left 2 messages with the receptionist because he was out when I called to ask when he was coming, neither was returned. My impression of Attic Door is not good at all, hence this review.

We happily pay our consigners because without them we would not be the successful 3rd generation family business that we are today.

I WAS RIPPED OFF BY THIS PROPRIETOR! SOMEONE EVEN FALSY SIGNED MY NAME OT AN ITEM THAT I WAS TOLD WAS NOT SOLD AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN IT WAS AND THEY FUDGED MY NAME ON A FALSE RECPT. THE AMOUNT I WAS TAKEN FOR WAS ONLY $23.00 BUT IF THEY NEED THE MONEY THIS BADLY I FEEL VERY SORRY FOR THEM, BTW-I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THEM FOR ALONG TIME AND JEAN WOULD NOT BUDGE INSISTING I SIGNED THE RCPT BUT WHAT I SIGNED WAS FOR ANOTHER ARTICLE AND NOT A CURIO CABINET I HAD BROUGH IN. THEY COULD NEVER FIND IT WHEN I CAME IN AND I FIGURED SOMETHING FUNNY WAS GOING ON AND GUESS WHAT -IT WAS. DONT BRING YOUR THINGS IN HERE AND DONT TRUST THEM AGAIN OR EVER! I AM VERY DISSAPPOINTED IN JEAN AND HER FAMILY!!!!!!

You can always count on Attic Door for a special piece that you were either looking for, or didnt know you were looking for until you found it there. I bought the perfect coffee table there, and a gorgeous hutch made in England for amazing prices. When my Grandmother passed away, they seamlessly took pieces from the home and were very easy to work with. They are very helpful and delightful to work with at Attic Door. Youd better get over there because their turnover is quick!

I have had nothing but great experiences with the Attic Door Furniture. I have consigned with them several times and they have ALWAYS been honest with me when my items have sold. They provide their consigners with a list of items that sold and how much each item sold for. They also do free pick ups which is awesome and convenient. Their prices are extremely reasonable hence why they have such a quick turnover and their items are always so beautiful. I definitely recommend them!

Very rude people to deal with I would never allow them to sell my furniture ever again or I will go to the shops again. They are nothing but a punch of thieves
