I came in for a backpack and hiking boots and was provided great customer service. The sales person spent a great deal of time showing me different packs and their abilities. He also measured my spine to select the proper size pack. Overall, employees are very friendly and attentive to your needs. They also clearly seem to know the ins and outs of the products they sell there.

I have a 10 year old bike which is good enough for my needs. I did not buy the bike from REI but am a member and saw they had a bike repair shop in the store. Chandler the guy who help me and did the work was awesome. Know his stuff. Did a great job restoring the bike to new for not a whole lot of money. Great place for bike repairs and I pretty sure a good place to buy a bike.

Great quality gear. Sales associate helped my husband pick out hiking shoes and he was super helpful and knowledgeable. Its worth it to be a member too because you get dividends that you can apply towards your purchases.
