Regarding the Photo studio - First of all, I was allotted a 10 minute window. I assumed this was due to them having 3 studios taking pictures. Nope. They had one photographer and they were HALF AN HOUR late. No worries. Its not like I only get two days a week off and dont mind waiting for my appointment for that long on my Saturday. Anyhow, I asked when we would be getting in and they said you are next. THREE people were actually before me so they lied. Secondly, the photos came out AWFUL. I take better pictures with my own camera. I think that it was because the photographer was so rushed. Then I said that I had wanted another background choice (she did 3 but they were only a few shots on each ) and she said that she "didnt want to be late for her next apt." Uh hello?? 1/2 hour wait?? and we were only there by my count for 9 minutes at that point! I will never come back to this studio. Last year I had an hour and 15 minute wait and the same "customer experience" this year. $3.99 sheets are only a good deal if the photos are any good and in this case they arent allowing the photographers enough time to take good pictures. The woman before me was so upset with hers she insisted they be redone!!

2 weeks ago, I picked up my new eyeglasses from the optical store. The clerk handed me the glasses, and I left. I noticed my vision was off, but I thought it was because of the new lenses. Within a few days, I discovered that the frames were misaligned. I retuned to optical, where the same obese clerk was the only one present. She realigned the frames, but they were still off. I tried to straighten out the frames myself, and in doing so, I popped out a lens. Today, I returned to Westfarms to have the lens reinserted. The new clerk was WONDERFUL!!! First, she reinserted the lens, then she attempted to correct the frame. After several tries, she was not satisfied with the results. She then got a new frame from your collection, and reinserted the lenses into that frame. After a few adjustments, the new glasses fitted perfectly! Annik Cochard is her name, and i bless her for her efforts.

JcPenny service and selection has really deteriorated a lot over the years!! I remember when the store management and associates actually took pride in how their store looked. Now everything is disheveled and you can barely find store associates to assist you with finding what you need. Theyre always out of stock in certain sizes, and sometimes it can take several weeks or even a couple months before they reorder??!! Shame on you, JcPenny for trying to get too corporate instead of actually focusing on the customer and theyre shopping experience. Thats probably why your company has had slumping sales in the past few years. So now is the time for you to change and do away with the whole warehouse mentality. It doesnt work and drives your customers away to shop somewhere else. All together, I would give Pennys like a D+ rating just barely above passing.

I absolutely love jcpenny, and this one at the Westfarms mall is probably my favorite. The staff is some of the greatest, always friendly and willing to go above and beyond to help, wether something simple like checking your rewards balance or to helping you find the item you saw online in your size. Wonderful baby and kids section, with new items coming in quite often. One of the largest womens selections on the lower level, along side jewelry, perfumes, shoes, and lingerie. Upper level has mens clothing, and household items. Organized perfectly and always clean. Also a sephora located inside on lower level.

JCPenny has a lot to offer: mens, ladies, kids clothes, and furniture and household items. This particular visit, I was looking for a suit. I found one, off the rack, and it fit great. In true form, there was a sale and coupons that made the price much more reasonable. Also, I did not know my shirt size, but the assistant took one look at me and guessed spot on. I was pretty happy with the service. I did try to use a second coupon on clearance items, but it would not go through even though the coupon didnt explicitly state clearance was exempt. Overall, I think I came out with a decent suit for a reasonable price.

The customer service is extremely friendly and helpful. Even with my items being on sale and clearanced the sale associate offered me a coupon. I got a crazy great deal, basically almost 70% off. I also had an excellent experience with both the staff and the quality of the jewelry there. This JCP is wonderful and organized.

Price tags on clothing items isnt usually the final price which is a nice surprise when you get to the register. Sales are always happening. Store is neat and organized for the most part.
