I recently lost my mother in law and visited J A Long for the flowers that were to be placed in church. I was greeted with such warmth and understanding which made the experience very personal. I discussed the type of flowers that the family wished to purchase and the recommendation was right in line with our thoughts. The flower arrangements were beyond our expectations and very reasonably priced. I initially thought of ordering online through one of the many commercialized sites but am so glad that I visited J A Long instead. I have been purchasing flowers from JA Long florist in East Haven for many, many years and have NEVER been disappointed. Every time the flowers have been received from the recipient there has always been happiness and praise for the way they are arranged and presented. Their prices are remarkably low for what ever you order. My most recent purchase was for a Cross arrangement for my dear friend and father in law who passed in Nov 2015 and everyone in the family remarked how beautiful the arrangement was. The talent, beautiful flowers available, and personal attention are unmatched. I have used this florist for many events for several years and have always been delighted with the results. Most recently, they provided the flowers for my wedding. They were able to incorporate the requested colors perfectly in the most beautiful arrangements for the church and the wedding luncheon.
