So number one my name on my card is wrong I've gone to right this simple error 4 times and each time I get handed a card with the wrong name. (middle name instead of first name) once I point out the mistake again I'm told I have to go to the back of the line to fix it. F that. This bjs has nothing like the new one in Stratford. They have clothes and bathing suits. This one has food and household needs but huge section for home decor. Ugh update!!!! I wanna be able to get the cheap clothes too with gas driving to Stratford is a waste of gas and hence no big saving money. Also every time I go there they up the price for cheese. Every time it's a half a dollar so or higher getting to be as muh as the regular store now. Lastly stop letting the siting and window people harass us on the way out. It's very annoying. I don't go to bjs for windows so to be hackled at as I walk by is irritating.

Horribly managed - got my cart to the check out area at 6 pm on a weeknight, stood there for 15 minutes waiting for someone to help deal with an "assistance needed" issue at self-check out lane but no one could manage to serve me. There were two "manned" aisles with similar problems and two other self-check out lanes all waiting for assistance. One manager was out there helping one person while we all waited in amazement out the terrible service. A second manager came out after about 15 minutes and both managers promptly took off into the back somewhere and no one was being helping. I asked one of the cashiers for some help and was told to "wait a few minutes and someone would be there to help". This never happened. I left my cart and goods at the lane and just left the store without purchasing anything. I saw two others looking to do the same. Shame on BJs Ansonia!

Lacking customer service Today on the way out my five year old wanted an Icy drink from the stores Subway. Almost to the door he dropped it. The clown who is usually walks around trying to push third party window sales didn’t offer to clean it up. He told the women at the eyeglass counter “I got it” then he handed me some paper towels and an empty box. I may have been able to clean it if the paper towels weren’t the hard thin ones that come on a big roll for the bathroom dispenser. I was only smearing it around on the floor lol. He just stood there pulling ten feet at a clip and handing them to me. Eventually he realized he needed a mop. I walked before my mop got there. I worked in a nearby food store for four years when I was a teen . I cleaned my share of breakages and never would have imagined doing this to a customer.

Great prices if you plan on buying in bulk. Their deli meat is pretty good quality, and the prices are some of the cheapest Ive seen. Their meat selection is great too; however most of it is in bulk, so youll likely need to freeze a lot of it. The store is well kept and clean, as well. Highly recommended if you have a BJs membership. If you dont, it might be worth taking a look at the Costco in Milford instead; generally you shouldnt be stopping by this place more than once a month, so even if its significantly farther its still worth checking out Costco instead.

Reason why I love this place, SAVINGS and coupons. This bjs is the best place to shop, low price for a lot of great items specially food. Great in electronics and very organized! Staff are very friendly and helpful. The other day In the clothing area I was greeted by an employee named Heidy f, very lovely girl. I asked her about this jacket I wanted to buy and I couldnt find my size, she assist me right away. I was pleased. very friendly staff, willing to help and great on suggestions. Highly recommend this place.

I share membership with the family and we have been doing so for a while now. Prices are great and works well for my family. Also the gas at this location is the lowest around. You cant beat the deal. So far no complaints about bjs other then then occasional sales pitch from the 3rd party venders. I really hate those, but Ive learned how to deal with them so they dont really bother me anymore :)

Good for gas and food and various other items. Customer service is usually lacking.. especially compared to Costco. Bjs doesnt have as large of a selection and quality of products as Costco..but can temporarily satisfy some shopping needs. The employees demeanor between both stores is drastically different.. Costco employees are always happier and eager to help.

No one called to confirm a bakery or deli order that was placed a week prior. No one answers the phone on expected day of pick up to confirm. I just hope its ready when I get there.

Customer service is great. Clean, well organized and decent selection. Deli is not the greatest and you often get long lines for sub-par service - but only at the deli.

Making a delivery here . People seem OK but the stupid rules of sitting in this awesome waiting area is ridicules especially that I have bed in my truck .

it has ok selection, seems like Sams club and Cosco has more. staff has been friendly. prices are just as good as any other big box store

Relatively new in March of 2017. Clean and bright. I visit many BJ Wholesale club locations; this one is nice.
