I have been buying my appliances at PC Richards for years now. I usually will price compare at other major stores first but always end up back at PCR. Id like to applaud Cirilo Fonseca as a wonderful salesman and an all around great person. Hes always been informative and fair, but this last visit was especially worthy of praise. Weve had a really rough summer and came home on a recent Thurs. to find my deep freeze had died overnight. I went directly to Cirilo. We negotiated a very fair price on a new freezer but he informed me that according to the computer, I couldnt get delivery until Sat morning. I expressed disappointment but what choice did I have? He rang up the purchase, then said "Let me make a call"". At this point it was 7:30 pm. Without prompting, he took it upon himself to call the warehouse directly to see if I could still get next day delivery. To both our amazements, and even that of his boss, the warehouse answered the call AND agreed to a Fri morning delivery. Cirilo went above and beyond because thats the kind of guy he is. Only after did I tell him of some of the challenges my family was experiencing. And no, were not related or associated in any other way. The delivery guys were punctual and the freezer is great. Thank you Cirilo!

Buyer beware! Do not buy the extended warrantee from PC Richards--- I did, then my washing machine broke. I though "Im glad I have the extended warrantee, PC Richards will come and fix my machine or they will replace it". Not so easy! Almost 4 weeks later the machine is no different from when it broke, but I have been home for 3 service calls, made more than a dozen phone calls, and wasted a lot of time being really angry and frustrated. Read the warrantee carefully. PC Richards can subcontract the work….in this case to "General Keystone" which has been incompetent, , deliberately deceptive, and slow. The warrantee says they will fix your machine if it breaks, but the warrantee says nothing about time frame and specifically says there will be no compensation for down time of the broken machine. Ive just been told that if I wait another 6 days, they will send someone else to look at the machine. We shall see. Ill revise my post when this story is over. In the meantime, a word of caution. Think carefully before you spend a dime on the extended warrantee.

We have purchased well over 90 percent of all our appliances, TVs, camcorders and the like from P.C. Richard. Our dishwasher was going so my wife and I decided to purchase a new one. We had a model in mind so off to P.C. Richard. We met Cirilo and expressed our interest in a new purchase. As we headed over to the dishwashers we let him know that we had a model in mind. A quick check of the computer showed the model was in stock at the warehouse. He pointed out some of the features and inquired if i knew the measurements of the current dishwasher. I did not. Back to the computer to look up past purchase and after he found it we checked the dimensions of the old dishwasher to the new dishwasher. It was a fit. The model was on sale so the rest of the sale was quick and painless. There was absolutely no pressure at any time as Cirilo is a true professional. My wife is on a 3 year plan to replace all of our kitchen appliances so trips back to PC and Cirilo for us for sure.

My wife and I were shopping for a dishwasher and went to P.C. Richards. Their pricing is supposed to be good and they offer a wide variety of appliances and electronics. But it was a struggle trying to get service. It took us a while to find a PC Richards sales person, who told us that he was sorry, but he was busy. I told him that I wanted to give him money and he called for someone to come and help us. Nobody showed up. I finally saw that same salesperson again and again he requested some help. Finally a sales person showed up. I asked the sales person what we should be looking for in a dishwasher and he told us that the more expensive it is, the better. So - this was not really any help. We finally picked out a dishwasher model, however I forgot the measurements at home. When I got home, I Googled Home Depot for the same model and found that it was priced cheaper and the delivery and installation charge was much cheaper.

I have been very fascinated and impressed with a recent issue that was impeccably solved by the manager Steve working for PC Richards store located in Stony Brook. Recently I ordered an accessory through PC Richards from a company that was based in Canada. Over 2 times, the Canadian based company had mailed me the wrong accessories for my kitchen hood. The representative Dean who sold me the item mentioned this to Steve and the latter got into the phone seconds after and had used up lots of his time and efforts in making sure that I received the correct accessory in less than 24 hours. Steve even had called me personally and made sure that that he did not rest until I received the correct one. Steves professional and dedicated demeanor in dealing with a situation like this was unbelievably impeccable. Kudos to this gentleman !!! Thank you so much Steve and Dean too, thanks again.

PC Richards did a wonderful job with our new kitchen appliances. We worked with Chris Richardson and he was absolutely fantastic. He answered all of our questions immediately via email and went out of his way to help us make the optimal purchase choices. We had no intention of purchasing through PC Richards, but after our experience with Chris, we wanted to bring our business no where else. A highlight of our experience was the fact that they swapped out a dented dishwasher with absolutely no hesitation. (We had received the shipment two weeks prior, but due to delay in the kitchen remodel, the appliances were never uncrated. When we saw the damage, we immediately contacted Chris and he assured us that a new one would be on its way.) Overall, a great, worry-free experience. Thank you!

Artie and Wes in the Stony Brook Store were absolutely great to deal with. They were just so straight forward and easy to deal with. I highly recommend dealing with them for anyone who wants to deal with a professional, no nonsense salesman and manager. Couldnt thank them enough for the help they gave us and creating an experience that allowed us to walk out of the store tonight feeling that we were taken care of and got the best price possible for the appliances we purchased. We live in Calverton and in the past have always shopped in the Riverhead store until a very bad experience that the salesman in Riverhead was not interested in making right. We will definitely be traveling to Stony Brook from now on to deal with Artie and Wes. Its worth the trip. Thank you again guys.

I went in to drop off my vacuum to be repaired with an extended warranty..it still mightve cost some money to repair with this warranty(which I felt was a little odd) also it wouldve taken 5-10 business days until I could pick it up. Peter the manager took it upon himself unsolicited to attempt to repair it on his own. Within a half hour he had it working like brand new!!! Since he & I had never met before it was a random act of kindness towards a stranger and customer service like that goes a far way in my book which will encourage me to further continue shopping at this location. Peter saved me time, money, and aggravation especially around this crazy holiday season!!! Thanks again Peter & keep up the great work!!!! Happy Holidays!!!
