On 12/26/12, I called this location to check on the wait for a tire rotation. I had purchased my tires from a discount tire a year ago. I was coming back for a free rotation. They told me 45 min. I immediately drove over there. When I got there, it was empty. Maybe 2 people waiting at most. They told me 45 min to an hr. So, I sat down and waited. The place filled with people and I thought "got here before the rush". An hr went by and I noticed my car was still sitting where I parked it. I checked with Jesus, the guy who told me an hour tops. He said that it was next in line and should be out in 15 mins. I sat back down and waited, but this time next to the window where I could watch them operate. 20 min went by and my car was still there even though I had seen others pulled into the garage. The place had also died down as I watched an employee walk in to grab the file for the next car. He grabbed 3 files and then yelled out to a manager to ask what order they were taking cars. The manager replied "based on when it was written" and then the employee took one an went to get another car. He walked right around mine to another that was not there when I got there. This was my confirmation that they cherry pick files to work on based on the value of the job. This time, I grabbed who appeared to be the manager and told him Id been there for 1 hr 20 min. He grabbed my file, walked outside, and told someone to take mine now. He then told me they accidentally grabbed the wrong 4runner. It was done after 1 hr 45 min. Just for a rotation that they use to sell their services and only takes 15 min tops to perform. I thought this was horrible service but then thought to myself "you get what you pay for". However, 5 days later I made a sickening discovery. I rarely drive my 4runner as I have a corolla I drive around town. I took my 4 runner out to Breckenridge for the day. This was really the 1st time I had driven it since getting the rotation. I noticed several times, a rubbing noise when I went into turns. I pulled over and noticed ice built up around the wheel. Thinking this was the noise, I knocked it off, jumped back in the car and headed back down the highway. The noise was still there. I then thought my tires may be over inflated but didnt really want to mess with the pressure since the tires had to be pretty warm as it is only recommended to play with tire pressure cold. I leave my car parked for the night to cool. I get out the next morning at 24 F and check the pressure. The 1st I check was the driver front tire. The recommended psi is 32. The pressure I read is over 40 psi at 24 F!!. This tire was WAYYYY over inflated. I immediately let the pressure down and as I put the valve cover back on, noticed that the center tread line was worn all the way down!!. I compared it to the rear tires and there was about a 1/4" diff in tread depth. The passenger side was worn too!! Just the center tread line was worn which is proof that it is due to over inflation. The other tires were inflated to the upper 30s. Im furious. Discount Tire not only made me sit for 1 hr 45 mins and cherry picked over me for more profitable customers, but they over inflated my tires and wore the tread down to the near end of my tires life. These tires cost me $700 for the set just a year prior. These guys are not professionals. Looking back on the years Ive used Discount Tire, I have noticed a trend of over inflation. Ive always had to let air out after they touch my tires. This is the one time I didnt check them after they touched them. I now believe they do this on purpose to cause their customers tires to wear down early and cause problems so that they come straight back to them. It doesnt take a genius to inflate tires to the correct pressure. Save yourself some time, money and heartache. Dont use these guys.

I am going to give this discount tire a five. I did have issues after replacing all tires with highway driving or anything over 45mph with my wheel jerking and the feeling like all tires were about to pop off. I came back twice for this issue. The customer service staff at the front is beyond caring and helpful. They definitely gave me plenty of advice and more knowledge on tires, and I have been a car owner for over 15 years at this point. If there is an issue they will go above and beyond to fix the issue!. The manager Bob is extremely caring and helpful as well!... to the guy that fixed my car today... when you said "any other issues take it to the shop" and just walked away... pulling up with a 1998 Saturn with front end damage from an unfortunate event from the previous owner hitting a deer and realizing, she at that point was too elderly to drive to church anymore. I purchased that car for 500$ dollars, fixed (ish) the cosmetic damage and has been driving that car for the past five years. I have kept up on all needed fixes and upkeep!. That car is a beast, and with 140K miles, my car will out last many with extremely affordable fixes. I realize with a junker you may think I was trying to pull one over on you, but Im sorry I believe in karma to the highest degree. Whatever the issue was, you fixed it!. Took her on the highway and she flys like she always has. My smooth driving, gas efficient, low problematic car is driving perfectly now. If I need tires next year I will be back to this discount tire. And dont worry another issues Ill take it to a mechanic... With all seriousness, thank you ALL for going above and beyond for my ghetto piece of reliable machinery. I will be verbally recommending your shop along with this review. Rach

Took my 2012 Honda Civic hybrid in because there was a slow leak in one tire. They told us the wear was enough they wouldnt plug it, we needed two new tires. Okay, we used this for ride-sharing, and we were willing to do that. They told us it would be an hour. They called us to say it was done, when we got there it wasnt, took another hour. When they gave us the car back, the computer screen lit up with Check TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system). This is not the same as the low pressure warning. They told us "Just drive it a while, itll be fine." Not fine. I took it back later that evening, they spent another hour and still couldnt fix it. Im going to have to take it to a proper mechanic and make them pay me whatever it costs to fix the problem. TPMS has been required in all cars since 2008. There is no reason they should have issues like this.
