- was sold an extended warranty without my permission or informing me of. - amp was water damaged, and not by me. Read on for further explanation. - lack of effort, follow up, or caring by employees, including management Brought a Brand new Subaru in the day after purchase to have Car Toys install a better stereo system for Us. Everything seemed and worked fine, until it didnt. In order to meet my price goal, the salesman suggestive sold us into a cheaper Kenwood amp. Amp stopped working after a little more than a year. Took it in to see what was going on. When I spoke to the rep at the store about it, he looked up our account and informed us that since we purchased the extended warranty, they would send it off to warranty repair to look at it. This was interesting as I never asked for nor was I informed I was sold an extended warranty (try making sense of the line items on a full stereo install!). As I was dealing with this issue, I bit my lip on this point to "ride it out" until it went through warranty. After 3-4 months, and me repeatedly checking in on its progress (as the sales reps assured me warranty could take up to 120 days, but they said they are usually fast), when I asked them to call and check on the status, the person at the other end informed the sales rep that the amp had water damage and would not be covered, and was shipping back to them currently. The sales rep, who was an asst.mngr. said that he would have the store manager look into this further and call me on it. Close to 2 weeks later, since I still had not received a phone call from the manager as promised, I went in, again, to see what was going on. Spoke with the store manager and my amp was there. He informed me that they would not be able to do anything for me. I informed him that the system was installed in a brand new vehicle (amp under drivers seat), which we also put seat covers on the day we bought it. We dont have kids and keep our vehicle relatively clean. I informed him of this information and the fact that the amp has never even been touched by us and no spills had occured in the vehicle. As well, I informed him of his sales rep putting the extended warranty on our purchase without asking us or informing us of this. Got a blank stare and he pretty blankly told me they couldnt do anything. He had very little concern about his sales reps illegally putting charges on our account or the amp issue. The one solution he did offer is as telling as anything. He offered to repair the water damaged amp and sell it to someone else and give us credit towards a new amp. Geeeee, I wonder how I ended up with a water damaged amp in the first place? Hhmmm. I informed him I had no interest in spending more money in this rip off store and left. Request for refund of amp and/or unauthorized warranty was refused by the store manager. Save yourself all these hassles and go somewhere else that will actually care, do what theyre supposed to, not rip you off, or waste your time and money! I am a local business owner myself. It takes a lot for me to write a review like this. I can, almost, understand them not dealing with the water damaged amp, as warranties on electronics dont cover water damage. The lack of concern about a sales rep illegally selling me an extended warranty is completely unacceptable. On top of this, I know the amp has not gotten wet since we have had it. Regardless of their stance on water damaged items, I know what did/didnt happen, and the fact that they were willing to resell a water damaged item explains everything about how this store operates.

This place is horrible this is coming from a auto repair shop that uses them for our customers "Wants" and let me tell you how it works when you drop off a car with them. Drop off a car at 10:30 am for remote start they know its coming and have all the parts and 2keys as asked for im told will be done no later then 2pm and they will get it right in as we need the car back to do some brake work ok no big deal. 2:15 pm I call up there and they just started it asking for another 4hours ARE YOU KIDDING ME OK 1ST STRIKE I tell them no way and we will come get it and drop it back off at 5 for them to finish it at this point im told only an hour left tell its finished but wait did you not just tell me that you needed 4hours OK??????? 2nd STRIKE So we drop it off at 5:15 pm and we are promised it will be done and the keys will be left in it so we can pick it up early the next morning to get it back to our shop phew what a day but wait its not even close to being OVER. 7:30 am we show up to get the car and bam no car insight its inside so I call and told someone will be there at 8 am to get the keys no one shows we get back to our shop I call back up there at 8:30am and they cant get the keys because they are locked away what is wrong with this place ok I will call back at 9am. 3RD STRIKE 9am I call and he says yes I have the keys I ask ok its done right he says I dont know what did we do ? ok really I tell him you installed remote start he says hold on let me go try it comes back on the phone and says no its not working OMG this is horrible are you for real right now? so thy ask and promise one hr it will be done im furious as you can imagine so I wait I call and hour and a half later and they ask for another hour to get it done 2 HOURS LATER its done HOLY COW people really I tell every one of my customers how bad this place is and we have over 5000 Customers. Please do yourself a favor and take it elsewhere or do it yourself you will have a better shot of doing it.. Places that do the same work Quality auto sound and Best buy both close to parker. UPDATE THEY BRING ME THE CAR AND IT WONT START I FEEL LIKE IM IN A BAD MOVIE AND THEY ALL THINK THIS IS A BIG JOKE WORST EXPERINCE EVER.

I just had my 1990 Coupe Quattro in for a keyless entry and the salesman up sold to a alarm. I proceeded with the install requested to Nate the installer and the salesman that there be no chirping on arming or disarming and that only the factory tone stay. After being told it would be ready at 5 oclock the following day I had my wife drop me off to get the car and I was there till 1030 at night waiting for the vehicle. Nate who is the installer damaged my bezel that holds the sunroof switch and proceeded to cover up his damage by putting a paperclip to try and cover up his damage. When I finally tested the unit and it chirped and I confronted Nate about it and he dropped the F bomb and walked away. When I asked sales went to go talk to him I could hear Nate screaming more profanity and they then came back and said that they would have to completely tear the entire system back out and reprogram it at this point I was exhausted and very upset. The locks dont work when activated 4 out of 5 times. I want my car fixed and my money back!!!! Worst experience ever with is company. Additionally, they said they would credit my account for the Uber trip I had to use to go get my car after they fixed it, the part I have had to purchase that the installer broke and money off my bill for labor. Nothing was credited, just got my bill and its still the total I signed for originally. Now I have to spend more of my time getting my money back for their incompetence.
