I do not recommend this shop, he will offer deals to scam you, do not trust this place or the people. My session started as a tap out for eight hours, he did three and talked me into a year for a session a month and would work with me on scheduling. He cancels and reschedules more times than actual tattoo work. He uses his diabetes to cut sessions short or not even show up to his own appointments. He told me my year is up and is refusing to complete the work. He will tell you he will give you longer sessions the next time, and tell you not to worry about time, because he intends to finish the job agreed upon. I fell for plenty of his sob stories of not feeling well or not up for longer appointments. I always knew when he would blame me for missing appointments he never scheduled with me or would straight up bump my appointment to someone else if I were a few minutes late that he was lying. I have a sleeve, entire back, stomach, both upper thighs and calf from other states done. I have worked with many tattoo artists and this is by far the worst experience I have ever with a tattooist. He has no problem telling you what you want to hear to get your business and money. He will not do the job, he will not even do a good job when he finally gets around to tattooing you. The shaky line work will not get fixed and it will need to be redone for more money by someone else. I paid over $2500 for less than 8 hours of work done in a year time frame. He will talk himself out of the work every time and continue to take your money without doing the work.

Heres an honest review of my personal experience. I had an appointment scheduled for 4 hours to get 2 tattoos done with my girlfriend, when we arrived, admittedly a few minutes late, we were informed there wasnt enough time to do both, which is understandable, but could have been easily avoided had we been warned beforehand. We sat and waited for at least an hour until we finally got a first draft design, which was not what we had asked for, and we both felt Justan was kind of pushy towards his design. I understand that he has been doing this for a while and Im sure he knows what hes doing, which is what makes this so disappointing. The tattoo ended up askew, uneven, scarred, and just generally looks poorly done. In addition, I was informed that my last review was considered "fake," showing me that this artist has somewhat of a tough time taking criticism. While this isnt the worst experience Ive had in a business, its far from the best. He does good work if he cares about the design, but maybe not so much otherwise. I would reccommend against a down payment until youre shown a design of some sort.

To whom it may concern, I have reviewed the replies you do to people that review your company poorly on here. While I am not a stakeholder currently in your business, I can tell you I am glad Im not given the way you conduct business. The fact that you reply with profanity to negative feedback pertaining to your business shows a complete and utter lack of proper customer relations. You fail to uphold the crucial responsibility that you have to the second most important stakeholder to your business, the customer. While it appears based on pictures your artists do decent work, it is apparent you are lacking the education on how to properly run a business. Because of these reasons I personally would be skeptical and careful to begin a relationship with an artist at your shop. I would recommend you consider changing the way you do business. Justan is awesome! I have lived all over the U.S.A and have had 5 different tattoo artists. Justan is by far the best. Very professional, great character and great integrity because he really cares about the quality of his art work/tattoos and wont do a poor tattoo. He is a great artist with alot of talent, knowledge and helpful advice (location of the tattoo and design). Very light hand, his tattoos hurt less than any other artists, and they heal very quickly. He works very quick so you can get a lot done in a short amount of time and really get your monies worth. I would recommend him to anyone, he also has killer deals if you check out his website as well!

I dont know what people are talking about below!!!! I love this shop. These guys are bad ass! I originally was planning in seeing one artist, but felt another artist there was more my style. When I asked if he didnt mind if I went to the other guy, they were totally cool about it! All of the artists are extremity talented, and worth every penny. Ive got a bit of work done and plan on returning to complete 2 sleeves and some leg work. I have and will recommend Black Voodoo Tattoo to anyone looking for quality, beautiful ink. Thanks guys!

My boyfriend and I have each gotten two flash tattoos during holiday specials here over the last month (mine from Allen and James, his from James and Drew) and I have an appointment with Justan next week. These guys are clean, professional and quick artists with a really cool shop and solid talent. Definitely try to catch them for their flash tattoo sales, you cant beat spending $25-40 on some quick ink. I also havent had to wait on either occasion, they only do walk ins for their flash tats. I highly recommend this shop!

Went in on the 13th to get my daith done in both ears. The piercer was great. We had some issues with the balls for the hoops which really hurt. Id give a higher rating but like I said I wanted my daith done and I was given my rook on both!! Make sure you 100% tell and show your piercer what you want. Disappointed as much as I like them. I also didnt get any after care instructions. Thank goodness for Google I suppose.

Got the coolest tattoo the other night from Justan and I am so happy with Black Voodoo! My piece (a really sick dream catcher with an octopus wrapped around it) turned out beautiful and he got through it rather quick because I was in pain. Also his over all pleasant, fun attitude made me feel very comfortable and relaxed for my first tattoo. Would definitely go again or recommend the shop to anyone!

Spent $250 total for a half sleeve and I love it, the artist did an amazing job and made sure I liked what he was doing. I was there for 4 hours total. They have great prices and good artists, I recommend them to anyone looking for a new tattoo for a good price. I got my tattoo from Allen and he does some really good work! I showed up a little early and we got started right away.

I came here to get a piece done for certain price and work was half completed from the owner. Now ill have to spend more gettin it finished somewhere else since the owner justan got paid already and doesnt return my emails to finish the job he started.thanks for the half tattoo
