Being on SNAP my family wouldnt make it through the month without the commissary. Good quality food, great variety, lots of coupons, and great customer service and cart service. Non food household basics are few dollars less than Walmart brand products and better quality and prices. I know most of the families/people that use the commissary wouldnt be surviving in the economy in this area with regular incomes. Thank you!

This commissary is always good. On busy days I would recommend here versus Peterson afb commissary because Peterson afb doesnt have as many open registers versus Fort Carson so you will get through quicker at Fort Carson. Also, Ive noticed that Fort Carson has a little bit more of a selection when it comes to certain products in certain categories.

Nice prices and fresh products, good costumer service expect for the baggers that seems to force you so they can take your bags so they can get tip. Also be sure you remind the baggers that you do want either plastic or paper, otherwise they will bag your items as they wish. Overall good place to save money.

One of the best commissaries(sp) Ive been to in my life. Former Navy brat turned AD USAF and I appreciate the layout of this commissary. I do not go more frequently due to how far I am but when I make the time to go I am never disappointed.

I do my regular shopping here, it is great. There are definitely times that are busier than others, but they open enough registers so that the wait in line is never that long, you just might be standing in line to go through the aisles.

Inventory is low late on paydays, milk and eggs are probably cheaper at king sooper, veggies spoil super quickly so I prefer to buy at Costco or other places. You pay ,like in any other commi, 5% and you have to tip the baggers.

The cashier half way bagged my items I had to bag the rest then continued with the next customer. I grabbed my bags and hear the cashier say to the customer would you like a bagger...I am a black woman she was a white woman...

Lots of options to choose from including special international groceries accomodating those who have returned from overseas assignments. Self-checkout lanes offer tip-free self bagging, which are nice for small shopping trips.

Glad to be back on a base and able to shop at the commissary! Shelves were stocked and workers friendly. We obviously no longer live here and will only shop when we visit but 5 stars to this base, commissary and exchange!

Bigger commissary than anothers. Its very clean and almost always have everything stuck. The only down size its the customer service over the self checkout, but hey its life, not everything its perfect in the world.

Brand new,large,great sales! If you have access to the commissary you really need to do your grocery shopping there. You will save sooooo much money over king soopers, Safeway, and even Walmart.

While some of the prices are comparable to Walmart the commissary has excellent prices for meat. I also found a great deal on Jamaican beef patties and no one can beat their bulk sale prices.

As a general rule a avoid commissaries like the plague, but this one is decent. They usually have a good amount of cashiers. Their deli subs are delicious. Avoid on payday at all cost!!

A well executed new commissary. Like many other reviews, avoid any commissary on a pay day weekend. Not worth the hassle. Otherwise, a great selection and value with friendly staff.
