I went into the store the day after their grand opening and all I can say is wow! Youd think in a city like Denver, thered be a plethora of high quality camping, hiking and mountain gear and there isnt. Feral bridges the gap offering the highest gear Ive seen. They also have this awesome mapping station that has (literally) every trail in Colorado and the staff will help you plan your trip! Id recommend Feral Mountain Co. to anyone that enjoys the outdoors, but especially those that are looking for the high quality gear that far surpasses your typical camping shop.

I love this store. Its a cute little outdoor gear shop with such a wide selection. All sorts of stuff for the experienced outdoor explorer and also some cool clothing finds. I grabbed a new water bottle and a t-shirt. I wish I would have gotten a new sleeping bag while I was there. My favorite part is their map room, they sell tons of Colorado trail maps and many they encourage you to use there for free. The guy working was friendly and seemed pretty knowledgeable. Cant wait to get back to this store when Im in Denver again.

Feral Mountain Co. is the BEST outdoor retail shop in Colorado. They have the largest map collection in the Denver area along with an awesome selection of outdoor clothing, camping and hiking gear including backpacks, tents, hammocks, sleeping bags, stoves, water purification and much more. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgable and experienced in the mountains, on the trail and all around the great outdoors. If you miss the atmosphere of a small, local-owned outdoor shop I highly recommend stopping by Feral!

Ive been in the store to browse a few times and have only purchased small items....so far. The few visits have won me over though. They have most everything you need to plan and outfit an adventure along with amazing technical knowledge of the gear and extensive knowledge of local trails and points of interest. Weather youre an experienced outdoorsman (or lady) looking for the right piece of gear or a newbie looking for advice, I cant recommend Feral enough.

Feral is a really fun outdoor gear shop in Denver. For such a small space, they do a great job of providing a great selection of outdoor gear, and were a fun bunch to chat with. We stopped by to plan a camping trip, and needed a few items. They were able to help us find a great camping spot, and offered a few tips for future trips. My tent needs to be replaced soon, but I will be back for all of my other outdoor gear needs as well. Oh, and cute shop dog!!

Felt really good to buy local from a small business owner! Got a camping air mattress on sale WAY less than that other place that rhymes with bar-me-fly. Got a full demonstration on how to inflate, deflate, and get it rolled up to fit back in the carry-bag. Very cool place to go look around if youre hanging out on Tennyson.

Love this little outdoor gear shop! Great spot for your camping needs. The neighborhood has changed a ton, and this store is a great addition. Stopped in to see if they had any camping fuel... yup! And everything else I needed. Its definitely a small shop, but that is what makes it charming. Ill be back!

Popped into this store while walking around Tennyson St, so happy we did! We only picked up a small item but are certain to be back. Everything in the store is of top quality, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. This shop is the epitome of a small gear shop - go as soon as you can!

This is a must stop if you plan on exploring Colorado. I suggested to my friends who were visiting from indiana to stop by, and they got all the gear they needed for their trip. They also got suggestions on the best spots to visit. Very professional, I would recommend to anyone.

Hip local outdoor equipment store operated out of a house along Tennyson Street. The inventory is small, but they also feature some brands that are not widely available anywhere else. Be sure to check out their unique 14er poster to track your peak bagging progress.
