**Valentines Day Nightmare** Lookin into filing a complaint to the BBB if not resolved I ordered flowers and chocolate along with delivery for valentines day. First off my girl doesnt celebrate valentines day as she thinks its a fake holiday. Where we never celebrate this holiday I thought flowers and chocolate would be a great surprise. I ordered a total of $103.xx from this company with special instructions to deliver prior to noon. As she works nights and im working days out of state. I got the call around 1230 from my girl that nothing showed up. Thinking all was set and taken care of I told her that the surprise should be on her door step inside the apartment complex she lives at when she got home at least. She got home and I received a call at 2am from my girl that nothing was there. Now im beyond pissed as I payed for services that are not being rendered as promised. Then she says she found a note telling her to come pick up the flowers at the shop after im paying you to DELIVER!!! If youre taking money from me for a service its your job to follow through (btw thanks for ruining the surprise ive had her excited for all week with the note as well). So I called up the next day after calming myself down thinking well its valentines day one of the busiest days of the year for you mistakes are bound to happen. Ok. So I call up and talk to a lady after my 12 and a half hour shift who assured me my order will be delivered tomorrow prior to noon. Promised me even. And I explained to her pick up is not an option my girl doesnt have a car at this time. I paid for delivery and delivery it WILL be. So today I was talking to my girl on break which I dont get typically. She said she got the flowers today at 1000hrs she loves them this that. I asked if she received anything else and she says no... Now im pissed again. I call up and the lady tells me the driver didnt realise there was chocolates included in the order.... And im thinking to myself isnt there a computer system stating whats included that you guys check to ensure the orders right... But like mcdonalds you seem to screw everything up time and time again. And these are the people demanding $15 an hr. So at 1035hrs I called again anyways calm even which took EVERY fiber of my being to do. And politely explained my situation... I asked why my chocolate wasnt delivered and they told me the driver didnt realise yaddiedaddiedaddah sounds like excuses to me. Great. So I told them I want them delivered today before Noon and was looking for some kind of compensation (not refund) compensation for the failed service and at first they offered me a lager chocolate size no extra cost. Great! Then they said never mind were all out how about a balloon... Ok sure not as good but what ever cool. They told me they sent the delivery guy right out at 1045 hrs. I called back minutes later thinkin maybe I should have them deliver to her work but my better judgement thought it best to have them deliver at home due to the already unnecessary complications that has arose. At this point I thought maybe just maybe they could drive 7 miles to complete my order a very patiently waiting customer prior to noon. My girl even stayed behind till 1220hrs hoping to reciece them and saw no hide or hair of a delivery. Awesome! Exactly what I wanted to hear. So now still my order is not complete. So I give up. To top it off I put MY phone number down as the contact number for the recipient to prevent any spoilers and again today a voicemail was left telling her "Weve tried twice to deliever now and wed like you to come pick it up" prior to my career I worked as higher ups and floor staff at call centers and retail and this is the worst customer service ive ever had. Unfortunately where I work 12 and a half hr shifts at a prison all week im unable to resolve this issue until monday. Which I will be calling and requesting to speak to a manager or the owner due to consistant failed service. I wouldnt recommend this store to any one and in fact I recommend anywhere but here for your floral necessities.

I order flowers from platte floral often. They are the only flower shop I order from. But after today that will never happen again. I called in earlier today to send some flowers to my fiancé. I looked on the website first to make sure I knew exactly what I wanted. When the flowers were delivered they did not even remotely look like the picture on the website. So I called when I called they said that there are several artistic tribute flowers on there website and that it was just a misunderstanding of what I wanted and that the manager would call me back. I went on the wevsite and there is only ONE arrangement with that name. 5 min later A lady called me back who was not the manager and tried to tell me she would come take back the flowers they delivered but would re deliver the right arrangement until Monday. MONDAY?!? Are you kidding me. Then the manager got on the phone and started yelling at me and said the flowers on the website they dont have the stuff to make that arrangement but that they would send yellow roses and orange lilies today. I want what I paid for. The manager even hung up on me. I am a restaurant general manager and that is not how you treat a loyal customer. He should have apologized and said keep the flowers since they were out mistake and we will send new ones out on Monday, thats all I wanted. Not to be told that he could pick.l them up on Monday with the new flowers? So you are telling a loyal customer that you are going to reuse 3 days old flowers to customers in your shop? That is ridiculous. I will never shop at your shop ever again. You need to find a new manager and team. Mel should not be a manager. At all. If he is going to be running your store it will go down the drain I assure you.

I needed a bridal bouquet for my niece, so I went to Platte Floral because they usually do great work. I sat with a floral designer, showed him photos, and we came to what I thought was a good understanding of exactly what I was looking to purchase. He assured me he had the color pallet and would use that color in the bouquet. I informed him that the wedding was an hour away, and he assured me that he would have it boxed and ready for the drive. When my husband picked it up, they had made a completely white bouquet that looked exactly like the one in the floral book and not at all like the photos I had shared with the designer. My husband asked where the red flowers were, they looked at the ticket, noticed what it said and stuck 5 red roses into the bouquet at the last minute. Then they laid it in a half-box that was poorly put together from other bixes, covered the bouquet with used tissue paper and sent him on his way. When I say the bouquet, I cried. Not tears of joy, but sadness because some of the flowers were already wilting and it was not at all what I had planned with the designer. When we got to the venue, the bride picked it up and the ribbon on the handle came off, and one of the long flowers fell out. DURING the wedding ceremony! I was horrified. I called and spoke with another of the designers, who apologized and assured me I would receive a call from the manager the next morning. The call never came. At this point, theres nothing I can do but never again be a customer of Platte Floral, and not recommended their services to anyone.
