Well, a disappointment at best. We have purchased several items from this store. Two of the pieces were Stanley dressers. After receiving them, we soon had problems with the seams separating on both. As the weeks passed, more and more seems began to separate. We contacted the store and were told that a repair person would come to our home to repair them. He did that but was unable to do the repairs because the damage was too extensive. We were referred to the customer service person, Tim. When I spoke to him, he was very unpleasant. It seemed that in this case, the term customer service manager is very inappropriate. This man is not pleasant! He was nasty with me as well as my husband. On the other hand, everyone else in the store, down to the delivery men have been quite pleasant and the store has a nice selection of furniture and accessories. Its just a shame that they allow a person like this to be a representative of their store. So, if you make a purchase here, take note that their so called customer service department is non-existent.

Goldilocks and the Three Mattresses! Recently, we purchased a Serta iComfort mattress from AFG. After shopping in three other stores, we felt none of the sales associates were knowledge about this product. Rita, our salesperson was personable and knowledgeable about the mattress and the warranty. Our first and second choices of the firmness of the mattress were not good ones for us. Sertas warranty allows for one exchange. After speaking with Rita, Neno, the Assistant Manager personally called me to try and work out the problem. He made a special attempt with Serta to replace the mattress again. At this point, under the warranty Serta and AFG did NOT have to replace the mattress. They were so professional and courteous. We now have the third, and PERFECT Serta mattress thanks to Rita and Neno. The gentlemen who delivered our three mattresses up our long, steep driveway did so with a smile each time. We have been customers of AFG for many years. They stand behind their customers and we are please to give them 5 stars!

We ordered a bedroom set for our three year old son... ordered it in beginning of Oct 2009, and never heard back.... called them after Thanksgiving, and they said they would check on it. I had to call EVERY week until mid January to check up on the status of the furniture. They blamed it on the manufacturer.... when it finally arrived, the sales manager said he would tell the drivers that I needed it to be delivered in the morning. Of course he said he forgot, and they only had afternoon slots left. They insultingly offered us 10% discount on our next purchase. Ummmm... pretty sure we wont be going back and hope whoever reads this hears our warning.

My wife and I were looking for quality furniture, with children and after the last furniture was falling apart in less than a year, we found out the hard way that we got just what we paid for. We needed living room furniture that would take being used and after reading up on the difference from the $499 sofa that the seat cushions that were 5 inches thick turned into 2 inches in 6 months and if felt like you were sitting on the floor needing help to get out of it, we bit the bullit and went to the best store in town. Great service, great selection, and good price to deliver it and set it up. Wont go anywhere else!

I really have to say what a wonderful experience shopping at American Furniture was. I had been shopping for a couple of weeks and visited many Furniture stores in the area, and finallly after visiting American Furniture I knew that they were the ones were I wanted to do my business. The manager Neno and the sales team was absolutly a joy to work with and I acomplished everything I needed to do furnishing two rooms in my home. I highly recomend them for the place to purchase any home furnishings and the quality is the best I had ever seen. Thanks again and I will be back again!

The furniture is extremely over priced. Couldnt find a dresser under $800 there. The second I walked in, a lady followed my husband and I around the store, even when we were running up the stairs trying to hide from her. She wouldnt get the hint that we didnt need help at that particular time. I wont be returning.

I dealt with the manager when i was there and he was very helpful with what i was looking for. I ordered a month in advance of moving into my new home, so i didnt have any issues with waiting for my items to arrive. They are a bit spendy, but the quality of furniture is much better.

Looked around for coffee tables. Nice inside didnt find what we wanted for the high prices offered. For God sake FIX YOUR SIGN. IT MAKES YOUR STORE LOOK HORRIBLE. IT MAKES THE STREET LOOK HORRIBLE. IT MAKES THE TOWN LOOK HORRIBLE. BEEN BROKEN FOR AT LEAST 3 YEARS.
