DSW is a large "discount" warehouse-style shoe store. The one near Flatirons isnt any different from any other DSW Ive visited. My only issue with the store is that they dont carry much over size 12 mens and very few wide sizes. This makes it difficult to find anything here for a person like myself who wears a 13 wide. The staff was nice enough and called other stores to check their inventory but it was the same deal at other stores. But, I guess if you have "normal" sized feet this place would be fine. However, the "discounts" on the shoes seem a bit dubious as Ive found the same pair at full price at other department stores and they were the same price as DSW.

I admit it - shoes are my weakness. You can sometimes score deals here and the staff is extremely patient and professional here. I still fee there are other discount stores with bigger deals unless you can really find something in the clearance section. Tucked away from the main roadway right across the street and up the hill from the Flatirons McDonalds. It can be tricky to find and parking can be tight here. Overall not a bad store and one I keep on my radar when I need new shoes.

Has anyone had any problems with shoes from DSW? Or am I too detailed? Ive had to return several shoes that I bought from DSW because after getting them home, noticed flaws on them. Flaws such as uneven heels, missing hardcover lining on one side, or uneven sole stitches on boots. My advice is to really inspect the shoes you buy from DSW, it almost seems like the company is selling less than perfect shoes. And some of these shoes are 50 dollars or more.

This is the best store in town for finding a deal on shoes. I like Nordstrom Rack, too, but DSW has better deals. If you come at the end of the season, and look very closely, you can find shoes for up to 80% off! I even got a pair of sandals for the coming summer on sale, too, but they were just 40% off as that season is on its way in. The staff is helpful and the quality is good, too!

Store was very clean and organized, and I was able to find what I needed quickly. My wife was still browsing, so I asked if theyd hold my items up front, to which they happily obliged. In the end, they didnt have the size she needed, but offered to ship them.

Good selection of adult shoes, ok selection of kids shoes (yes, kids shoes). I do not understand why they do not move the kids shoes back into the room that was originally built for them.

Excellent shoe store. They have a good selection of name brands, as well as a few less-expensive options. Their clearance selection is good too - they have discontinued name brand items.

Over price low quality... Went in for work boots, looked for an hour and finally found a shoe (Sketchers) that would work/fit and the back tab ripped off them first time I put them on
