The store is undergoing what they call a reset from the owners that dont even live here and are comparing a mountain store to the store here. While I WI say the staff is very helpful and very friendly I have no problems with the staff its the were not caring that anymore or this anymore that is really pissing me off. I hve been buying certain products from there and have been for years because it is the best stuff for my needs. I get well we can order it and get it in a week makes me mad I want it available when I need it not wait for a common item to be ordered and wait for it to come in. They need to realize that they are not the only store around and I can take my business else where.

I first found Great Woods on Craigslist shopping for materials for 4000 sq foot roof. They helped me design and provision my roof for about $3.00/sq foot, about 1/3 the cost of most systems. But the great service came three months later when I discovered that the decking screws I purchased were too short for my roofing system. A couple of phone calls later they helped me exchange my $1600 worth of short screws for ones that fit. I just dont know how I could get a better combination of service and great price anywhere else.

The staff is usually pretty friendly, always helpful, and they are very quick to acknowledge you and even walk around the store with you to help you get everything you need. Prices are high, though.
