I got my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses here for my wedding last year, and I was really happy with this place! This was actually the first and only place I went to, but I had quite a few friends who had gotten their dresses here and they were all satisfied customers, plus the good reviews helped to reassure me that I wasnt making an uninformed decision. I really wasnt sure what I was looking for at first, but the gal who helped me (I think shes part of the family that owns this store) was really helpful and made suggestions, and even encouraged me to try on dresses I wouldnt consider just so that I could rule them out, if nothing else. I tried on about 5 or so dresses, and the last one was the one. And, the person helping me was really sincere and honest about what looked good on me. The great thing is that I never felt any pressure and I never felt like she was just trying to make a sale, I felt that she was genuinely trying to help me find the dress that would be most flattering and would make me the happiest. And, I did! I also ended up doing my alterations there. Even though the dress fit me pretty well, it was a little big through the hips and the length was a little long, but the seamstress altered it perfectly! She (I think shes also one of the owners) was really sweet and made sure that I was happy and comfortable in the dress. The only thing I could complain about is that part of the bustle came undone at the reception, but that really couldve been because my husband stepped on the train about a thousand times that night. But, my coordinator came prepared with safety pins, so crisis averted! I also bought all of my bridesmaids dresses there and they all looked fantastic. The dresses all had corset backs, and I think only one out of six of them ended up needing to alter the top to make it fit, but then again she was also the only one who measured herself (she lives out of town) so there really couldve been a little human error there on her part :) But, the dresses were all really pretty and everyone was really happy with them. I have to say that this was the easiest part of the wedding planning process. The family that owns this place is really nice. I always felt really comfortable at Pebbles Bridal and I was happy to spend my money there. And, Im sure all brides say this, but I really got A LOT of compliments on my dress!

HORRIBLE! UNPROFESSIONAL! UNFRIENDLY! And just a VERY GLOOMY SHOP! As I bride to be you have to approach the whole wedding experience with an open mind and positivity. I was very excited to begin my wedding dress experience at Pebbles but what I got was a STONING! The young lady that helped me was very young, maybe still in community college and not experienced enough to work as a bridal consultant. Perhaps she would be more beneficial at a store like “Forever 21”. After describing to her what I was looking for and showed her pictures, she was just picking random dresses. My friend, who was with me, actually found the type of dresses that I was looking for. Long story short, I found the PERFECT dress but wanted to bring in my mom to show it to her before buying the dress. I went in on a Thurs and told the girl I would bring my mom in on Monday to show her dress. The “consultant” advised that she would note the dress I liked as well as the other two dresses on a card and “HOLD IT”! Had I been offered to put a deposit down for the dress I would have done that. The following Monday when I took my mom to show her the dress the inexperienced “consultant” said “I have bad news for you…We sold the dress”, it felt like a really bad joke. At this point I felt like a bucket of ice cold water was poured on me. I was soo stunned I couldn’t even say anything. My mom began telling her how unprofessional it was to sell the dress when they knew I wanted the dress and WHY they COULDN’T call to say someone was interested in the dress and to top it off they dont even have a podium for a bride to stand on its an ugly worn out stool, somehting they would use at a hospital. Writing this review is even more upsetting. BOTTOM POINT, this place is a HORRIBLE family owned business and they can’t even smile and say “hello” when you walk in the door and as my mom mentioned it has a very negative energy when you walk in, it almost felt like a warehouse in Downtown LA not a warm bridal shop. Please save yourself some time and look at other options then resorting to this dump.

Three weeks before I was leaving for my wedding (we went to Canada) I picked up my dress (that I purchased at another store) at the seamstress who used to own a bridal shop. It was a Sunday. She told me that she washed it, yes I said washed it. When I took it to show my parents the beads literally started falling off. We had 3 weeks to find a dress and get it fitted, not to mention finding a place open on a Sunday. We were waiting outside before they opened talking to a couple that was waiting as well and told them what happened. When we walked inside the first thing asked was "who was the one outside that said washed dress, 3 weeks and going to be sick". When I said me they said not to worry and everything would be fine. She asked me very specific questions about what I wanted. I am larger than the sample sizes so that made it a bit harder. I had to buy something off the rack. Literally the first dress she pulled was perfect. I tried on a few others but this one was it. They had the alterations done in a week and a half. They took what could have been a horrible experience and made it calm and relaxed. They are not rude but very good at what they do. They know what will look good on you. I highly recommend this shop.

Pebbles was my fourth and last bridal store that I was going to try before making a choice on my dress and I am so happy I came here! From the outside it looks small, but when you step in, it opens up to a very large room filled with racks of dresses NOT in bags so you can get a good look at them. If you go on a weekend, be prepared to wait. They are walk in only so its first come, first served. They give you a ticket number and while you wait to be called, you may peruse the aisles and mentally pick out what you like, but you cant pull any dresses until its your turn. They have a lot of designer dresses at really good prices compared to other bridal stores and whats amazing is they have a large selection of plus sizes to try on! I loved this since Im a size 16 and I found THE perfect Sottero & Midgley dress that fit me like a glove! Not only are their dresses affordable, but some dresses have store credit that you can apply to anything else in the store (veils, jewelery). I put a down payment on my dress today and Im also ordering all four of my bridesmaids their dresses from here too. Ask for Susie or Monica, theyre the best!
