On Christmas eve at 2:30am I was there with two of my friends one is black the other Hispanic and myself I am native American. I went to the jewelry dept because my wife like a nekalace that said mom on it and I was going to buy it for her from our kids. The manager named Lisa was behind the counter I asked for help she looked over at me and said we are closed come back tomorrow in five hours.. I went on about my business to checking out I had bought a display model of a boom box for my 13 year old step daughter the electronics dept said I could get 10-15% off the price because it didnt even have the paper work with it. And there wasnt even a box they gave me some random box to put it in and put a price label on it. While I was checking out I aske the cashier like electronics told me to do. She asked for her supervisor to approve it and the young lady came over and said she will need the manager approval to my suprise it was the same hateful white woman Lisa who now at this time was helping a older white male buy a ring or something like that In the dept she told me was closed. I said something to the supervisor about how it was funny she can help that older white male there but not me. She walked over and I believe she told her what I said and despite being told by electronics and Walmart always discounting products that are displayed not to mention target had it online for 10 bucks cheaper and they wouldnt honor either the discount or price match. I feel this hateful white woman racial profiled us because we all had just left work and were not dressed all nice

Like Hotel California I needed to get out of there fast! Before leaving on a road trip from Colorado, I had previously rotated my tires and balanced the two rear tires. I had the tires just the way I wanted them. At this Sacrament Walmart, I needed only the two front tires balanced, plus an oil change. Simple enough, right? After the seemingly confused counter person asked my name 3 times in 5 minutes, I figured he finally got my order down correctly. However, when I later observed all my tires scattered in the work bay around the car, I asked why. By the time they gave me an answer, my car was in the parking lot, the job was completed, and then with a smile, I was told was told they had rotated and balancing all the tire as I had requested. I went to the manage and told him "Your guys got my order all wrong." I didnt want to have them undo what they had done fearing they would create more confusion. I wanted a refund to rotate the tires back to the way they were. The manager was not happy with me, never spoke to me or expressed an apology, but he gave me a partial refund. When I got back on the road I discovered a very bad vibration; only one of the two tires I requested to be balanced was balanced - in fact, it was worse than before I took it to them, and the paint on my front fender had two five inch scratches by the ) by the guys (belt buckle?) doing the oil change. Other than that, the trip went well.

(Edit: Was one of the best Walmarts in the are until the 24 hr services were stopped. I have been to the store numerous times around early mornings and there werent a lot people around, the checkout is lightning fast for a large store like Walmart....thus 4 stars.) There is always a great selection, cheaper products usually with lower quality and a mid-range to high products with better quality. I can say that for everything I have purchased in Walmart, I have saved at least 20%. Walmarts competitors lack the cheaper prices for the same products, and that is really what brings me here. If you have the time, browse the clearance section (isle), once in a while there is something worth buying. I dont go to Walmart for their customer service, it is pretty bad, in fact half the time you cant find an associate and when/if you do find one, they rarely know the department or the item you are looking for. The checkout cashiers have always been friendly, which is plus for me. Also, Walmart conviniently offers insurance on some of the higher end products, in addition to the usual 1 year factory warranty. Fairly clean store and a well lit parking lot with a security patrol.

Worst customer ever... Once I went in and saw a smart TV by Samsung labeled at a great price, but it turned out that they had the previous model there before and this was the new one. So instead of honoring store policy they by giving me the price as marked they said they were out of stock and to try back later that night when inventory came in. So I did and when I came in the priced was changed so I called the manager on duty and showed the picture I took of the TV and display and the price and told her how they told me to come back, she said she the TV was never that price and the pictures could have been from any Walmart in the area. I asked her if I could find the employee who helped me if she would honor the price and she said she would and luck would have it one of the employees that helped me was just about to clock out when I spotted her and called her over to confirm. The supervisor then said sorry, but I cant honor the price because it shows in my system that it was never that price. Needless to say this wasnt my only run in like this at this store. Management here is horrible as well as the customer service.

I have been shopping here for ten yrs. Always come back because of the friendly staff. I had the worst example of customer see ice today at the deli. The girl at the counter was very rude and abrupt. She didnt acknowledge that fact fact that there was a line there. Came out started taking orders and practi ally slamming them on the counter. If this was me then I would not have been distressed but I could see that this girl was doing the same to everyone. All I wanted was roast chicken so waited until I saw her pushing out the chicken . As soon as i approached she warned me not to grab the chicken. I felt so embarrassed by this display of aggression. I explained to the lady I was not there to grab but would wait until she finishes unloading her cart to take a chicken. I own 4 hotels in West Sacramento and never had any hesitation to recommend my guests to shop at Wal-Mart. After this display of customer service from a Wal-Mart Employee I would be wary of reccomending people to shop here especially if you are black. Thank you Wal-Mart for teaching me a lesson. It will never be same for me shopping with you anymore.

Calling this store is an exercise in futility -- culminating into sheer annoyance and frustration. If they dont immediately put you on hold, or they hang up on you purposely... Or,if you are lucky enough to get through to an actual person, ... they are either extremely rude or they are absolutely clueless!!!! This has been the case since the store opened a few year back. The merchandising, shelf display and overall store appearance is often shoddy and unorganized. There are never enough cashiers, and the ones that man the cash registers on a skeleten crew basis are often gaunt, over tired and work with the speed of frozen water. The Truxel Walmart is head and shoulders above this "super center"; easier to get into and the people there, long term employees many of them, are helpful, friendly and upbeat. Truxel employees, unlike the ones at the Super Center, at least have a pulse.
