About 10 years ago when I first moved to Sacramento, this store was decent. My husband and I would visit it about every other weekend. Since then, we have moved South and frequent other Walmarts that are superior to this one. My brother moved into the area recently and one day on our way back from a trip to their place, we pulled into this Walmart because the kids were hungry and wanted chicken nuggets. At the Mickey D counter, there were two people working so I could understand the wait. But the wait extended to a good 15 – 20 minutes. Finally our order was taken, and it took a while for the order to come out too since the lady at the register was busy talking to another customer. Sat down and saw two employees on their lunch break. I scarf my sandwich down, ran to grab my items while the husband and kids ate. There must have been about 6 lanes open, all backed up though. It looked like none of the cashier were in any rush at all to clear the lines. The self check out lanes were closed so I settled for the 10 or less items lanes. There were two express lanes open. One left for break or lunch or whatever at all when I join the line. The second cashier didn’t finish check out his customer either, he must have gone to lunch or take a break too. But this is also where the customer kicks in, two young bimbo who probably dropped out of school and couldn’t read the 10 or less items, took their cart loaded of toilet papers and curtain rods, and most definitely more then 10 items through the express lane. I grabbed a Sunday Bee while I waited and when I got home, noticed it was missing the coupons and ads! What the heck is the point of a camera right above the coupons if you’re not going to enforce it anyway? Definitely will go to Target across the street instead now. I must have waited a good 30 minutes for 5 items! Ridiculous.

The only reason this place even deserves one star is because of the pharmacy. Other than that one bright spot, it is a decent into the unraveling of American society. Thats not an exaggeration either. Ive been here 4 times and it has been 4 times too many. I witnessed two youths right outside the entrance having a turf war over who is going to sell chocolate bars there. They were shoving and screaming obscenities at each while employees and adults alike acted like nothing was wrong. There is always aggressive panhandlers and sales people outside the store. I bought a tent at the woodland Walmart and tried to return it at this location. The two female employees at the customer counter were comparing their nails and engrossed in an enthralling conversation about them. I had to say excuse me twice in order to get their attention. When I did they said it wasnt possible to return it at the truxel location. We had the receipt and everything. I asked to see a manager and waited for 15 mins before leaving in frustration. I did see a lady with a squawking bird on her head walking through the store. That was more amusing then anything though. The lines are always long and the shelves are usually a disaster. I just needed a bottle of tequila for a party during my last trip to this location. The liquor is locked up like Fort Knox with one person in the entire store who has the key. Three other people and I waited for over 20 mins for someone to show up. This store and staff are just awful.

Wish I could give 0 or negative stars. Was in the store this morning looking at items in the fishing section. I ran across a decent rod that was marked one price on clearance. At the price marked, I wasnt going to pass it up. I went to the cashier to ring up my purchase and it was ringing up as a different price than marked. The cashier called a manager over. It took her a few minutes, but she finally slowly walked over to us. The situation was explained, but she then took off to try to find someone else. She was gone for quite some time while I stood and waited as my cut off time to get to work got closer and closer. Finally she came back and said that they couldnt sell it for the marked price. If I had more time, I might have fought it longer, but was already late for work at this point. I left the rest of my purchase at the counter and left the store. Ive had issues with other walmarts in the past, but had started to give them other chances to retain my family as customers. This, however, is the last time I will shop at a walmart for anything. They have now lost my family as customers for good. I also am curious if there are consumer protection laws about this type of situation, and may do some research to find out for sure.

This is a centrally located Walmart for the area. Usually youll find a friendly face to help you locate an item or two. Merchandise is usually presented well (until sloppy customers toss it around). I have no complaints but I do suggest that they hire a few more people dedicated to putting items back immediately to keep the store neat (not that its messy which it was not) so that it will not be disorganized on racks and shelves. Again, I watch the customers pull off items and just toss them or their children pull out items and the parent(s) just leave it. Items can be easily returned (but keep your receipt to make it easier). Customer service can back up making the experience a little less than comfortable. But as far as the store goes...this one is nice.

This store is a mess! Back when it first opened, it was nice. Over the years it has changed for the worst! Many of the shelves are half empty. The inventory isnt organized properly. The store always looks poor and dirty inside. The shopping carts are raggedy. Theres always people loitering near the front entrance and in the parking lot making it feel unsafe. If I need anything I just avoid shopping here and go across to Target where I always have a pleasant shopping experience and none of these issues. Target doesnt allow it! And just because its Walmart doesnt mean it has to be like this. For example, the Walmart in Roseville on Pleasant Grove Blvd is absolutely excellent! Why cant the Natomas Walmart be like that?

Of all the bad reviews I read about this place, there are four people who are nothing but five start rating customer service. Venu-who works at the Pharmacy, great and wonderful person who takes his time to explain and recommend the right medication for you. Marianne- Works night shift, if I want to rate this lady, I would give her ten starts if not more. Lexus and Jeniffer at Picture Me photo place, you two put your heart n souls in each picture you take.. Oh behalf of resident of Natomas, you make my shopping experience great knowing there are people like you working there
