Buying a vehicle from Visalia Honda was no problem. The service department however has proven to be less than even one star in my opinion. The salesman was successful in selling me extras to add to my purchase. These items were to be in within 7-10 days. That did not happen. On day 14, (a Tues.) they called to schedule an appointment for Fri. to have this done. I was not able to make it for that day so we decided on Mon. On Fri. I get a call telling me that they still dont even have the parts. We reschedule for Wed. Keep in mind, this is a brand new vehicle. The A/C is not working and I ask them to check that also. I was told this would probably take 3-4 hours total. It is over 30 hours later, I do not have my car. They cannot figure out how to fix the issue but have not sought a competent tech for advice. I have gotten many excuses (when they choose to answer the call) but no solution and definite unsatisfactory customer service. Would I recommend Honda of Visalia? Absolutely NOT! Update: It is after 5:00 PM. I will not be getting my car back again today. I contacted Honda Headquarters to express my concerns. At that time I was informed of a re-call on my new vehicle. I notified Gropetti Honda of Visalia service manager Ed so that this could be handled while they have the car as I do not wish to take it back again. Ed informed me that this had already been taken care of, however I had not been told of it and he thanked me for the "heads up" which I would have to assume was referring to the fact that I did tell him I had contacted Honda Headquarters. There is much education in customer service and satisfaction that needs to take place at this dealership. Their mission statement is very encouraging in print but words are just words unless put into action.

Arron is the best! He has restored my faith again in the Honda service department. He is so efficient, accomodating,courteous and friendly. Arron kept me posted the entire time my car was in repair and always returned my calls promptly. My car is in perfect repair now. On purchasing my Honda Element in 2005, I was given 2 free detailings, which I never used. Since my car was there for service, I asked for it to be done. They had no record of it since it had been too many years ago. Arron also made that happen for me. My car looked ok....but would not use them again for detailing. The back seat storage units on each door , were never even touched. I cleaned those myself as well as the floors. Maybe I was asking too much since they did not have a record of it...or maybe that is the best they can do? Perhaps they dont do detail? Not sure. I purchased a new Honda Accord Sport along with my brother which he purchased a new Accord EX-L. Chris helped us out. Since the initial phone call I made, he was straight forward and willing to work with me on the price I wanted. We got there and he honored the price he gave us over the phone. Approval process took about 15-20min without any hassle. I really recommend Chris when buy a new car. He was friendly and straight forward. Before going to Visalia Honda, I went to Honda North and Selma Honda. Honda North was okay, but good enough as Visalia, Selma Honda didnt wanted to work with me, unless I told them I was ready to buy....too much pressure and after I told them I wasnt ready yet. They didnt wanted to work with me on pricing. Strongly recommend Visalia Honda. Be aware, financing person is a totally different. They will try to sell you as much as they can. They acted as a used car sales person...Cool person though...I guess they bonuses on how much they sell.....

Took my wifes 2009 Accord EX-L in to Visalia Honda. Recently we have had an apparent oil consumption issue. The last 3 Oil changes I was told the dipstick had no oil on it yet there was no evidence of a oil leak or engine smoking. Byron the service rep at Honda had me leave the car so they could put it on their machine in order to diagnose any problems that may be causing the oil loss. It ended up being a engine problem but Honda discussed the available options and determined a new motor was the corrective action necessary to fix my wifes car. New motor was installed and wife had her car back in just a few days. We cant say enough how pleased we are with our experience with the whole service team at Visalia Honda. Especially Byron, he kept us informed of what was going on and we got our car back earlier than expected. Hands down the best experience we have ever had dealing with a auto service department!! Thanks Honda!!

Horrible experience first Juan behind the counter tried to tell me that my CRV transmission had a 12qt capacity and told me I was around 4 to 6 QT low when the CRV transmission is a 4 qt capacity and I was a qt low then my tires are nitrogen filled by Costco and you do not mix compressed air with nitrogen when my service was done it looked like my tires were corrected but they told me that they check the pressure but dont service nitrogen filled. I ended up watching my whole service of my car and in conclusion they did not even inspect my car all they did was check my cabin air filter engine air filter changed my oil and topped off my transmission because that was the main thing I was in there for so they did not perform the 12 point inspection. If I could i would return my CRV ask for all my money back because I bought my Honda for the warranties and there inspections and clearly Im not getting what I paid for .

My family and I came to Visalia Honda to look at the HondaOdyssey. Jeremy Albright was the salesman who showed us the Odyssey. First of all he wasnt pushy at all, just letting us know that he was there if we needed him and if we had any questions. He was available when we did. He was friendly and knew a lot about the vehicle. We had a budget that we presented and really didnt want a used Odyssey, so Jeremy shared the lease option with us. We gave the amount we needed to stay in payment wise and Jeremy and his management made it work for us! We love leasing our Odyssey and love that at the end of our lease we can purchase the vehicle or consider other options! Most of all, Im just thankful that I have a great vehicle with plenty of room for our family that will include 5 children anytime now!!! Thanks Jeremy Albright for being a great salesman and for Visalia Honda for a good lease deal for our family!

My service adviser was extremely helpful, kind, and genuine. He offered more help to me than any other service advisers at Honda. In the past, I have always felt odd with your advisers because there has always been a negative vibe and I felt the contempt from them as they talked down to me. I am still unsure whether this happens because Im a woman or because Im a minority, but I saw and felt the discrimination from them. Although I cannot remember his name (my record can provide that information), the most recent adviser was like an angel to me. He showed his good character and caring personality by offering me a rental car, even if it was for a few hours as we had been waiting for a couple of hours by then. He also spoke to me like a human in the most genuine and classic way. He deserves all the praises from upper management and he deserves a raise.
