I have to agree with Sam C. This is one of the best dealerships Ive ever been to. We started at 1st Nissan but after 25mins with no salesman, we decided to move to 1st Honda. We walked around and looked at their used inventory and right as we had a question, Michael appears. He was extremely friendly and to the point, no bullshit. I loved it! We explained that my wife was pregnant and we needed a bigger car to support the new addition to our family. He immediately brought us to a super clean certified 2012 Accord SE that we had been looking at and took us for a test ride. Told us all about the safety features, crash test scores and answered all the questions we had. He pulled over and let my wife drive it and she was instantly hooked. We got back and all went well but we wanted to check out other cars. He showed us the other cars we wanted to look at with ZERO pressure. He recommended the Accord over everything else we looked at. Its was priced insanely low and show room clean. We had a trade but we had just from a lunch date and didnt have it with us. Michael drove me to my house to pick up the trade. (Nissan Versa Note) Once we got back, the entire process was the most streamlined Ive ever seen. Michael got us everything we asked for. He really went above and beyond. Brought my pregnant wife organic yogurt and a banana when she was getting a bit nauseous. Thats HUGE in my book. We met Joe, really honest and great guy as well! He gave us an INCREDIBLE deal on everything. TOP DOLLAR for our trade in and gave us an UNBEATABLE price, term and APR on the Accord so it would fit our budget. Joe REALLY hooked us up! GREATLY GREATLY APPRECIATED! Vicki was also very pleasant, to the point and extremely efficient with all the paperwork getting us in and out of the finance office in 15 minutes. Thanks Vicki! The entire process only took 2 hrs! Could not be happier with everything from beginning to end. Thank you ALL very much for such a wonderful, hassle free car buying experience! If youre in the market for a new ride, GO SEE FIRST HONDA! You definitely wont be disappointed.

I went there last weekend to discuss new lease options and was given a monthly payment for a 2017 that was astronomical- almost $500 a month! Literally, it was so high for a car under $30k retail value, that I could have been at a Mercedes dealer and been given a lower lease payment amount-- and all this with perfect, A+ credit! When I asked the sales person for an explanation of the high payment amount he brought the sales Manager over- thats when it went downhill fast. The sales manager had the audacity to tell me he would lower the payment $20 or $30 bucks per month depending on how much more money I would put down! Really?! If I took the deal they were offering me I would have ended up paying $10k over retail for the car if I chose to buyout at lease maturity with the payments they gave me and residual value. It was insulting that he thought I didnt understand basic mathematics, so I left immediately. I called Honda Woodland Hills and Honda Thousand Oaks and asked for quotes over the phone for the same car. Both of them were about $160 per month less than First Hondas quote and yes- their quotes included taxes and fees. Anyways, I ended up in a fully loaded luxury SUV for a substantially lower payment than First Steeet Honda - oh and Mr. Sales Manager it was NOT lower because I put more money down! (Still cant believe that comment--Ha! What a joke.) I do think at one point in time First Honda was the place to go for a good deal on a new Honda. Times have changed and they are now losing business left and right. My parents neighbors had a similar experience after being 30 year customers of First Honda and now will only do business at Honda of Thousand Oaks- after 30 years!? Save yourself the nightmare and just go to another Honda dealer. Nothing worse than trying to be ripped off. I feel bad for people that dont know any better and really do get played by these guys. I will never go back, and will tell everyone I know about my experience. I love Hondas and no doubt will get another one eventually, but never from First Honda.

I submitted an interest on 1st Honda on a 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid Plug-in and I was immediately contacted by the internet sales rep CJ on the phone. He asked me what kind of pricing I was looking for? I replied with "Im looking for the best deal you can offer." I had explain to him that I had been quoted with the selling price $38,500 from another dealership. Soon after he hung up and spoke with the sales manager Albert and he quoted me $37,511.96. I was excited so I went to my bank and requested my loan to be approved on October 30, 2013. My loan at this point only last 30 days, I had made plans to go down on Sunday to purchase the car with my Credit Union loan. I then called back Friday 11/1/2013 to inquire about test driving the car and purchasing it on Sunday 11/3/2013. So I called in asking for CJ to confirm and his manager Christian picks up and convinced me that it might be a better option to finance with Honda Financial. I agreed and filled out the form shortly but he had assured me if I didnt qualify, I could come down on Sunday with my Credit Union loan to purchase the car. So I called in today on 11/2/2013 and asked for confirmation of the appointment with CJ and he schedules a 6pm. I was excited at this point and then he calls me to inform me that they cant honor the deal because it required $15,000 down and I had to use Honda Financial to get the quote of $37,511.96. Albert and Christian never stipulated that I needed go with Honda Financial to get the deal. All in all they caused me to lost another 10-15 points on my credit score and lost of wages (200 bucks) for taking off from work. 1st Honda dont seem to care if the customer credit rating is taking a hit (after all, its not their credit score.) They also dont seem to care that they caused me to lose wages from not working.

We went to another local Honda dealership, financing in hand, ready to make a deal. They didnt have what we wanted, and werent too enthusiastic about finding what we wanted. After a lot of dickering, we decided to leave and check out 1st Honda in Simi Valley. When we got there, a St. Patricks Day event was going on, with people everywhere, guests and employees alike. When we got there, we saw what we wanted, right there on the showroom floor, filled with balloons for a "guess how many" contest. Despite the frenzy, we were promptly greeted and set up with a sales person, Alfonso Jimenez. From the beginning, 1st Honda left a positive impression. Working with Alfonso was really pleasant, too; he is a young man with a great personality, is willing to play the sales game with grace and goodwill, and showed an ability to withstand our rather rigid sales approach. He was the tennis ball between us and the sales manager, and in the process, Alfonso never waivered in courtesy and good will. And, he never played the heavy-handed saleman, either, which we appreciated. In the end, we walked away pleased with the sales and the service, and with the car we wanted. It was filled with gas, emptied of balloons, and while we have had it only a couple of weeks, we are pleased. If this experience says anything about 1st Honda, it says that they are probably a very good dealership to use in the future. Thanks, Alfonso! Adding this on 3/28/16...the only the thing I dont get is the line "we run credit on all customers" even when we walked in with guaranteed money. I meant to mention this before I finished, but got side tracked, so now I am asking the question . . .
