11/11/14 I have had my car in 4 times; upon return there has been a new problem or the problem they said they fixed were not. (My daughter and my complaint to G.M. are my proof.) The only nice thing about the service department is Ray, he provided good customer service, was respectful and has followed up on everything that I asked. The Service manager asked me if I thought they purposely returned my car broken? No I do not; however sir you company does return it with a new problems. Don, in service was rude and when I said that someone said to take my car to Rydell, he said then why dont you. (Maybe I dont think I should have to drive 15 miles to Northridge or Thousand Oaks to have my car serviced and returned without issue.) At one time I would have raved and said oh yes the service department is very good; but that is no longer the case. The general manager Patrick, and I have spoken many times; and he called me on the Monday following service the week before; to ask for me to amend my review. I said once I had driven the car for a couple of days I would. (I left a message for Patric to contact me, however to date he has not called me back. So I posted my present problem, service said they would advise him of the problem. I guess I no longer merit a call back.) Monday last week at night I got another warning on my car. (I feel like I have to have the video on my camera phone set to record the exact problem; because it is returned with another problem.) Being asked to just bring it back in is no longer acceptable. My 2012 Chevy Cruze has had 6 recalls, and 58 bulletins (I believe that is a Lemon Law) I get many letters from attorneys about this Lemon Law; I really believe it is time to call some of them back. I will not buy from Simi Valley Chevrolet again, and I will never take my car in for service again. I dont know if it is because I am a women, or if it is because I believe in good customer service, or that well I just want my car to be able to get me and my passengers to where they need to go; but it doesnt seem that the dealership is capable of respecting the money that I spent on buying this car, and the money and time that I loose with dealing with repetitive sloppy "service" on my vehicle. How anyone at the dealer could think that is acceptable is unacceptable. If I could give minus on stars it would be given. (update) 12/2/14 I love my new Honda from 1ST Honda in Simi bye bye to the headache of dealing with Simi Valley Chevrolet :)

I was very disappointed with my recent experience and visit to the Simi Valley Chevrolet As I have been scheduling my cars oil changes for over a year now and have been happy in the past. This past Tuesday 6/13/17 I had a scheduled oils change at 9 am I arrived 10 minutes early but yet the man that was suppose to assist me in Checking my car in could not be found and when he was found did not take the time to ask me if I needed help (don ) This other man was nice enough to sing me in using Dons computer and I went on with my day They said it would take 1 1/2 tops for my car and time passed and passed and no call back I called around 1:30 to check on car and no answer Called again at 2 and they said someone from service would contact me At 2:45 I decided to get a rose to dealership and found my car just sitting there done !!! They charged me and pulled my car up When I entered my car I noticed no sticker indicating an oil change had been done and when to bring my car back I then looked at my recipe and they apparently cant log correct mileage because they logged my car in at 160,000 miles when the previous sticker indicated I needed to return at 165,300 miles my car that day already was at 165,388 so how does that happen .. to end this I was very unhappy with my experience I trusted them in the past for a great job and it seems that customer service is no longer a priority if they are comfortable returning vehicles back in this condition. Will not be going back !!!

New Update on Jan 30, 2016 - Had an appointment at 7:00am on Saturday, Jan 30th, 2016, for Full Service! Dealership had lost ALL Power. I returned 90 minutes later when Partial Power had been restored. They offered me a Full Service with Paperwork to be mailed to me. The SERVICE WAS COMPLETED wonderfully well. I work every day and weekend appt is the only time I have. Cannot thank ALL Personnel enough! I have always been to a Dealer in the SFV but dropped by for a complete Service assisted by Don Bevington. My Check-in was incredibly fast with a comfortable waiting area that had a big Screen TV, Donuts & Coffee waiting at 7:00am (my Check-in was 7:30am but I arrived early). The Certified Service included Oil & Filter Change, Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection and Tire Rotation. I also needed a brake light replaced plus the Car Wash that was the best ever (inside & out). This was simply a fantastic experience made even better by a courteous & professional staff and I was out in an hour. Ive been fortunate to have had many great experiences regarding my Past Vehicles, but this first time at Simi Valley Chevrolet was the very best ever!

My past ratings have always been good. Jonathan always greeted me and provided excellent service. However, a couple of services ago the technician did not do the all point inspection. I usually receive an e mail with the report, no e mail. One of my tires was low but I knew it would be taken care of. When I got in my car now adjustments had been made to my tire pressure. I took it back and they aired up the tire. My last visit I pulled in and no greeting. I went inside, Jonathan was not there. There was another gentleman and lady at the service desk. Neither one of them looked up, they were doing something on his computer. I finally said "are you open". The lady then greeted me. I told her about my technician experience from last time and how disappointed I was. She said "they were having technical difficulty ". When my care was done, my brakes were at the end of their life and needed replacement right away. Wish I would have known this last visit. I really expected this to be able to keep my car in good running order. Please provide the service you did before. It is the reason I come to Simi Valley Chevrolet.

I took my vehicle in for in-warranty servicing; at that time the representative told me of a manufacturer recommended service, which I approved. I was offered a ride home, but chose to remain. The time I spent waiting was reasonable: the oil and filters changes were completed, a noise complaint was investigated but could not be duplicated, and I understood when I was told the part was not available to correct the problem at that time. So I will be receiving a call when the part is received and take my car back to complete the repair. The waiting area was relatively comfortable; coffee, water and donuts for free; TV with some morning show. I did go outside and there was seating in various areas; the restroom was nearby and clean. Each person I spoke to was friendly, pleasant, informative; additionally the service representative that completed the call stressed the importance of checking multiple items (trying to duplicate my noise complaint) for safety reasons; even those I only had eye contact with smiled. All-in-all, not a bad experience especially considering the facility is undergoing construction. Thank you!
