This location is one of the larger ones. The fellow who supervises the produce -- a friendly, mustachioed man -- learns regulars names and greets everyone heartily while muscling large containers of heavy products into place. Hell let you in on whats stocked in the back and what might be coming in over the next couple of days. If youre after something in particular, hell even go looking for you. The secret to 99 Cents Only Stores is that sometimes they get amazing products that are being introduced in other stores. About one out of every three visits I come away with some treat or unique item I wouldnt have otherwise tried at a higher price. Its a great place to explore new things and pick up great values for stock items like packing tape, batteries, and bananas.

I can buy a lot of my same products I see in other name store, why pay more for the same food or other products, also the produce comes from farmers markets, I saw the truck and national shows on radio are now saying that so you can eat healthy, I cant afford farmers markets always but I can be healthy here, I started going here when I fell into hard times and now everyone goes to the 99cent only stores, I thank them for this store for helping me eat, and now Im in a grocery store or rite aid I go I can get that at 99 store, my favorite one is Lincoln and Pico. ENJOY this store, I still do!

This is one of the best 99 cent stores as far as this chain goes. It is large, fairly clean and usually has a good selection of fruit and vegetables often with organic options. Sometimes I am pleasantly surprised to find organic salad greens of the same brand that right next door in Whole Foods sells at much much higher price. Not all products sold here are of good quality, but if you choose wisely you can eat healthy and spend a whole lot less.

$.99 stores are always crowded and a little grotty. It is true of this store but I give it five stars because they often get the same produce delivered to them that whole foods next door gets. I forget which day it is but there is a brand of organic lettuce and Ive seen the truck pull up and some of it goes to whole foods and some of it goes to the $.99 store so the price difference is serval bucks a container. They dont always have it though.

I once lived in Santa Monica and shopped this store several times a month. I was able to buy fresh vegetables and fruit for only 99cent. There were canned goods, office supplies, frozen goods, vitamins, cosmetics and products for personal hygiene. IT was a great experience. I thrived and was able to save money without sacrificing quality. I just wish that there were 99cent stores in Nashville, Tn.

Interesting social experiment to have this next to a Whole Foods in such an economically split area. I shop at both, and recommend hitting this store first, so you dont waste your money on comparable products next door. As with any discount store, expect varied availability and mixed quality. If you shop carefully, youll do well.

Im a big fan of this dollar store. Like most, its very hit or miss. Ive found everything from a family size container of organic Spinach to grilling necessities. Other times, you wont find what you need. But thats the beauty of it. Compared to most dollar stores, this one has a great selection and of course great pricing.

Very disorganized and somewhere dirty. The produce section is kinda gross and Ive seen some of those little fruit flies around so that usually means there is rotten plant material in the area. Parking is a challenge. Great place for small party favors and getting stuff to wrap packages.

This place is often crowded and you will encounter "colorful" and "ecentric" locals while shopping. When you find good deals its best to stock up because some items are not always available consistently.

The cashier Edith is very rude, this is my second time paying with her and never say hi or gives me the receipt on my hand. I try to explain that I wanted to do two transactions but she ignored me.

Go here before whole foods. Maybe youll be lucky and find some items cheaper than you would at wholefoods. Items are inconsistent which is sometimes bothersome. Thats why I cant give a great review.
