UPDATE 4: Im so disappointed and outraged by the service here. We are now on 21 days of them having my vehicle and it seems were not any closer. I wonder if they even still have my car? I was suppose to get a call from Vinnie (He said he would come in on his day off to check the status, I told him to call me Tuesday so he didnt have to go in on his day off) well today is Tuesday and guess what.......NO CALL! I just called and he has left for the day. Ashraf was there but knows nothing. IF I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE STAR, I WOULD. BEWARE DONT EXPECT TO SEE YOUR CAR FOR A VERY LONG TIME. plus after all this they are still charging me (not the entire amount). Im so disappointed! We now have to cancel our Disneyland plans because our rental only seats 5 and we have 5 kids plus 2 adults. EPIC FAIL VACAVILLE GMC! Spoke to a guy named Michael and he was super nice. He put my heart at Ease when he told me there was a good faith recall on my transmission for a 2008 GMC Acadia. Dropped my car off and authorized the work....its been 11 days and I get a call that it hasnt even been looked at, and they fired the Michael guy I assume. Now they are telling me that its going to cost over $900 to look at my transmission. What have they been doing with it the past 11 days? Now they say its 8oo0 miles over the warranty. Since Ive talked to 2 guys Vinnie and Ashraf and they say they are gonna do everything they can to help. We will see! **update 1: they just brought me a rental. I was impressed at how fast they got me the rental car and then got off work and jumped in and it was on red. NO GAS! SERIOUSLY? **update 2: Spoke to Ashraf Saturday and he said he would call me Monday and I didnt recieve any call. Took today off work (tuesday) to go down and see whats going on. Spoke to Vinnie and he said it was currently being checked out and that he would check base with me by 5pm. Im pleased to say he actually called me at 5pm to let me know he would call me again tomorrow at 10am. Keeping a customer informed is important. **update 3: so got an update on my car from GMC yesterday 05/15/2016 they think they found the cause of the problem of my vehicle. Im glad that they "think" this is the problem and I appreciate Vinny from GMC for staying in communication with me. However, you would think after so many days of a company having your car and not even knowing it was there (16 days!) They would offer to deduct the technician charges from the work. I understand having to pay something, but labor charges after 16 days?! I would love to say things seem to be a bit more organized as Vinny and Ash have taken over my account. However, more should be done to satisfy customers when a screw up like this is made. (Im going to update my review from 1 star to 2 stars because of the communication from Vinnie) (I will continue to update)

Dont go here, period. If you are trying to avoid slimy sales people do not come to Buick GMC Vacaville. They put me in a BEAUTIFUL 2013 Buick LaCrosse with low miles. Let me explain to you their methods of getting you in a car outside of your price range. They WILL NOT work with you on the price at all, what they WILL do is adjust the rates to get the payment where you want them. Great, right? Wrong. Dont listen they are suckering you in. Allow me to elaborate. My dad and I were discussing financing with our sales person Paulo. Hes playing the, "Let me talk to my manager" game, and my dad draws the line at $349 a month. He goes back to the manager, comes back, says, "I dont know how he did it, but congratulations." Oh no Paulo, I know exactly how he did it. They adjusted the rate to something they knew we couldnt get as opposed to keeping the same interest rate and coming down on the price of the car. Now, why? They knew they werent going to move that car to us at a dollar over $349 a month, but maybe if I had already driven the car for a week my dad might budge. So they want to raise my rates by $13 a month. No big deal financially for me, the problem here is morally I dont want to support a shady business. So, of course I should just return the car and take my money else where. Wrong. They ran both my credit and my dads credit through 10+ banks and murdered both of our credit scores. Now even with proof of income and a down payment Im not going to be able to find financing any where else. Whatever, I want the Buick anyways and I know Ill be able to refinance in a few months. And this isnt Paulos fault really, how am I supposed to know if he was already aware of this. He was actually pretty cool through the whole process. Steven, the financing guy was also pretty cool. The bottom line is I know the route they took to make this sale, and thats truly weak in spirit. Im going in today, and they NEED to come down on this price and put my payments where I want them. At this point I have almost no leverage. I just hope now that they do the right thing. Would be 1 star if I wasnt treated so well by the staff initially, but when you have money in your pocket and youre here to buy a car of course everyone is going to be friendly. Here comes the true test, how professional will they be when they have my hands tied.

By far the best car buying experience Ive had, and Ive had many. Cesar was my car salesperson. There was absolutely no sales pressure! Never experienced that before. I first went to the dealership as research to see if I even liked the car style. Thats how I first met Cesar. I told him that I wasnt ready to buy, but was researching models. He offered to show me around and we looked at a few vehicles. We talked about cost, specs, milage on the vehicles. He didnt have all the technical answers to my questions, but did offer to get them for me. I didnt have the time to get thoes, so he referred me to the web site so I could take a look at my leisure. As I was leaving, he gave me his business card, shook my hand, and offered his services should I need anything in the future. I had a friend with me and as we drove away, we just couldnt believe that there was absolutely no pressure to buy. Niether of us could believe it. I knew then that this guy was someone Id like to do business with if I happen to choose that style car. So I went home and over the next week went online and checked out the cars I was considering. When I went on the website to the Vacaville Buick/GMC dealership I seen the car I was considering for sale. I had more business to do in Vacaville and called Cesar to make an appointment to discuss the car. I went up there and ended up getting a better deal then what was online. The finance guy that I worked with (Steve) made everything quick, fairly comprehensive, easy. The comprehensive problems are mine as I get lost when talking about APRs, contracts, and stuff. Steve was able to answer all my questions. I didnt feel like anything was being hidden from me or not fully out in the open/explained. I dealt with Cesar and Steve the most, but all the staff in the dealership are very kind and friendly. If youre in the market for a Buick and live in the Bay area, this is a great dealership to go to. The buying is pretty straight forward. Go see Cesar for a great deal and Steve for the financing. So worth going and taking a look.
