I have been here twice and both experiences were great. The first time was just to get a new starter but since it was the first cold night of the year the evening prior so they were packed. They had so many cars needing starters and batteries so Don was upfront that he most likely wouldnt be able to get it fixed within the day. I was 8 months pregnant and an overworked manager for a restaurant so my car was indeed necessary. I thought for sure I would have to be cabbing to work and home for at least a couple days since my car was last and with no appointment. To my surprise Don was able to have my car ready for me before the evening shift even started. I couldnt have been more grateful for him to help me in my time of need. Forward to 4 months later and my car needs assistance again asap. Having had such a wonderful experience before I decided to go back and Im glad I did. No appointment again so Don informed me that it could be a few days until they even got to my car. I told him it was no problem seeing as I am now a mother of a 2 month old I will not drive either way and I trust them with my vehicle. Low and behold they were again able to have it fixed for me in just a few hours later!! There is no one else in chico Id trust to take car of my car. Good honest work and more than willing to go the extra mile for their customers. :)

Happy Camper! I am so happy I came here this morning! My synthetic oil change service was perfect! -Everything a car lover wants. Please keep reading if you want to hear about my experience! Background: I love my car, I washed my car weekly BEFORE the drought, I only take my car to the dealership to get serviced. This is the first time my car has been to a shop. Im from socal and have no idea where to go in Chico. Experience: 5/5! I made an appointment for an oil change and got it within the day and time-frame I wanted. The process was efficient and smooth. I waited in the office while my baby was being serviced. They have wifi and a cute ass coffee bar. Service was great, mechanics and owner was hospitable and honest. Price: The quote over the phone was a pretty good estimate (ended up being what they told me). I got a synthetic oil change for a good price! (the average price) Service: They put the sticker on my window, vacuumed, and the work was clean (yes I opened the hood). Time: Efficient! They started working on my car right away. I made it to work on time and I wasnt bored when I was waiting. Take away: My go to place in Chico, and I recommend to all my socal friends and Chico locals!

We came to Spencer Automotive with our 2001 Yukon with a sensor issue. The team was so up front in what needed to be done and gave very accurate and fair pricing. We also learned of a few other issues and the owner was able to give me a priority list of what should be done first as I am on a budget. Grateful for honesty and quality of work.
