My wife went in for an oil change which went well. They tried the usual scam where they tried to trick her into changing the serpentine belt because of "cracks" in spite of the fact that the belt is fairly new. They took it one giant step further though when they also attempted to sell her a transmission service due to dirty fluid. We just had a factory transmission installed about 2 months prior to this and when I checked it the fluid was like brand new. Shame on these scam artists for trying to take advantage of a woman like that. Its a good thing that my wife knows better or we would have wasted $300-$400.

Tried to tell me I needed to replace the brake rotors, drums and all of the brake pads. When I went to go do it myself (because they wanted $800 to do all of it and they tried to scare me by saying they couldnt just do the rear brakes because the car wouldnt be safe to drive and they would be liable), it just needed new rear pads. The front pads had 90% of the material left on them when compared to new pads and the rotors/drums were only about half way through their wearable range. Total crooks, go somewhere else and tell your friends to steer clear as well.
