Sandpiper Books is a neighborhood gem! Its locally owned and has a great selection books with nice displays to fuel your browsing needs. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. My favorite thing to do is grab a tea from the cafe and sit out front and people watch. Great place to bump into neighbors.

Not only is this used bookstore one of the hidden shops of the South Bay, but the owner has an extensive knowledge of occult/metaphysical titles and carries a hefty supply in stock at all times. Highly recommended for the Ceremonial Magician, Wiccan, or just your average armchair occultist. A+++++

Each time I visited Sandpiper Books , I left with at least a few great finds. This place has a great philosophy and social science selection, which is rare to find in used bookstores. The books are so affordable, and the owner is a Sandpiper Books.

Workers were friendly, dont be intimidated to ask questions if you have any, the used books selection are reasonable prices. I would rather come here to support the local businesses compared to the big chains, I will be back for more books!

I tried buying a book but the lady wouldnt ket me because she had a 10$ minimum. Extremely irritating because no ine else has the book and I didnt have cash nor did I want to buy more books. Im never shopping here.
