I had mixed experience shopping at Pacific Sales in Thousand Oaks. I called ahead of time to setup an appointment. Customer service representative told me that no appointments necessary because sales people are always available to help the customers. Guess what? We spend 30 minutes until somebody had a chance to talk to us. When I came to the front desk to complain one of the sales people told us that they do not really need our business. I think this sales person name was Frank. Finally we got hold of one of the consultants in plumbing department. His name is Craig and that was the good experience. Craig is knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. He helped us to select the fixtures we needed in less than an hour. Than Craig started entering the order in the computer. This process was terribly slow. Pacific Sales is using DOS program from last millennium. It took Craig more than half an hour to enter the order. Then we went to front desk to pay. Guess what another 30 minutes only with one customer ahead of us. Same “terrific” software. The next fun part at Pacific Sales is to get your order fulfilled. I already went to the store 3 times since last Saturday. We still did not get everything we need. I was told today that the last items on my order arrived. I came to the store in the morning. They could not find my faucets. I wasted the trip, and will have to call them again tomorrow. And by the way receiving the items at front desk is not fun It also takes 15-30 minute because of the antique software and inventory system Pacific Sales is using. Pacific Sales prices are OK, not the best just OK. You can buy most of the same fixtures 20-25% less on Internet. Unfortunately on the Internet you have to wait sometimes weeks before the order get delivered. We went to Pacific Sales with expectation the large company will have what we need in stock. Bad assumption. We still waiting. In overall the only bright spot shopping at Pacific Sales was our interaction with Craig. He is the reason I gave Pacific Sales 2 stars. Otherwise it will be just one. The rest was simply terrible.

If I could leave zero star, I would. This company is part of Best Buy. As such, it provides the WORST customer service one could imagine. In July 2016, I purchased a Washer Dryer from Pacific Sales, from sales person "Armando", who also claims to be the store manager. During my interaction w him, I was put off by his condescending attitude, however I chose to ignore that as I needed to get a washer dryer before leaving out of state for the DNC convention. The items I purchased took THREE DELIVERY ATTEMPTS because of a variety of reasons due to the incompetence of Armando as a salesperson determining the units needed, despite my giving him measurements, stating the length of the vent, etc. Needless to say, on the 3rd attempt, I had already left for Philadelphia. A friend accepted delivery. When I returned, my newly painted laundry room had a corner damaged and paint chips were laying on the laundry room floor. Flash forward to today, my wall is still not repaired, they have assigned at least 5 claims adjusters, Armando at Pacific Sales has told me the I am not being "patient"...its now 3 months, I think my patience has worn out. Do not buy from this company...they do not provide customer service as part of Best Buy, there are no phone numbers to corporate available, they use separate companies for sales, damage claims, transportation....and it appears there is no communication between the various transport companies they use. If you happen to have home damage, they basically give you the run around, when you get angry enough they refuse to take the product back...its just the new corporate lack of concern for the customer and their property or money. This is not the way to do business and I would never ever think of walking in their store again. This matter is still unresolved and it is quite upsetting. Stay far away from Pacific Sale-Best Buy.

I am extremely happy with the customer service I received at Pacific Sales in Newbury Park. I almost put a lot of money down on my kitchen at a different appliance store. Im glad I went to Steve at Pacific Sales because he is friendly, helpful and wanted to get me the kitchen of my dreams.

Great for buying appliances at a good price. Warranty is total scam. It was extremely frustrating and painful. Has taken over 5 weeks and issue with our broken washer under warranty is still not resolved.
