So far I have loved my experience at the Apple Store in Simi! I have been in there several times for various reasons and they have been very helpful and attentive. My most recent visit, which was just a few days ago, was very good. I encountered a gray screen on my laptop and wanted my computer diagnosed.. they ran the basic diagnostic on it and it came back clean but since my apple care was ending the next day or better yet midnight that day they suggested that I run the 12 hour test just in case there was something majorly wrong with my laptop. They called me back a day later and told me that my hard drive was about the crash but since we caught it in time (before the expiration of apple care) they would replace my hard drive at no cost to me. I know that was an Apple thing but I receive great service! Thanks!

I wrote to commend the excellent customer support by Martin of the store. As I had a few questions regarding the newly purchased iPad and iPhone 6s, I came to the store for help but was advised to sign up for free classes instead. Fortunately, Martin offered his help. He patiently showed me the solutions so that I could put my purchases into good use. He appeared to be the most helpful guy in the store as other experts were fairly reluctant to answer questions from walk-ins. Many of us as senior citizens can afford to buy the latest electronic devices but are hesitant because of the lack of computer expertise. If the Apple store has more employees like Martin, I would not hesitate to recommend iPhones to all my friends as there is an actual person they can talk to if they have questions following the manual.

I called over the phone ask a simple question of the differences between the iMac and iPad pretty sad how unknowledgeable all three employees I spoke with were on the products there selling, they were so unknowledgeable on these products they literally tried belittling me for asking the question telling me for the obvious reasons one is A computer and one is a tablet that was literally the only answer I got , whos doing the hiring around here, .... a year later I find my self calling the Apple Store to ask a simple question and once again Im stuck in limbo dealing with an automated system prompting me in all the wrong directions , still dont have my question answered and iv been on hold I think? For over 40 min trying to speak with a human

I would like to state that I believe that Apples business model for customer service is fantastic! Ive been to stores in Santa Barbara, Simi Valley Thousand Oaks, Woodland Hills, etc. since getting my first IPod.in 2005 Ive never felt that the Associates there were any less than absolutely committed to helping ti resolve any issue I had come in for. Ive never been charged one cent for any technical support. Ive walked in with a problem that they couldnt rectify, and left with a brand new device. Definitely makes me a customer for life BTW my iPod has been flawlessly playing my music collection since that time, in spite of being moved to 4 different work trucks over the years! Thanks Apple! I have been going to this Apple store since it opened and have bought a lot of gear there. An Apple fanboy? Yes, however the business I am in requires me to use Apple gear and it rocks. I am mystified as to why hallo needs to put down a store that indeed allows one to " buy your i-whatsits at". It IS an Apple store is it not. Yes there are a lot of employees and I have been there where I was the only customer and other times where I had to wait to get a rep since they were so busy. In all, I have found the staff helpful and knowledgeable about most things and if they werent , would search out someone who would know. And this is my typical experience at ANY Apple store.

Made an appointment with technical support because my Nano IPod would not sync with my PC. The young man told me he couldnt help me because the sync issue dealt with a PC vs. a Mac computer. First, the mobile technical support disconnected with me after 10 minutes on the phone, then an in-person technical support person says he cant help me because my itunes library is on a PC. Apple has to know that there are still some of us out there that have purchased IPods and run off of PCs, so there can be technical issues that will arise. This incident just leaves a bitter taste for me towards Apple products

Came in early in the week and had to order replacement headphones. The girl who helped me was extremely lazy and acted like it was impossible to order a replacement, however, luckily for me I already visited a different apple and was told it could be done (and they made notes in my case). If not for visiting a different apple prior to Im sure this woman would have brushed me off. Coming in to pick up my replacement headphones I somehow ended up waiting for 30 mins for them to find them. Then I asked for a bag as I was still shopping and the guy refused. The customer service here is really sub par.

Jonathan (I believe he was a trainer?green tag) was AWESOME! I have been to the apple store in TO thousands of times, and they have never been nearly so helpful. Actually... I normally leave pretty pissed off or feeling like an idiot. Anyway, poor Jonathan I could tell I drove him crazy with all my stupid questions. But I was freaking out over a work emergency and he patiently took the time to walk me through what I needed to do step by step. I hope this helps him get a raise or some kind of acknowledgment because he deserves it, thanks for savin my a** Jonathan!!! -A much happier Paulina :)

Tried to get to LIVE real person to ask about - synching iCloud with PC classes at the store, an iPhone 5c glitch or two - and wanted to set up best time to come in to store. IT CAN"T BE DONE LIVE, after minutes of hearing your electronic automated person typing in the questions and getting the wrong answers, the getting a live person EVENTUALLY at the store, I was immediately transferred to APPLE service off shore or wherever. SO I WILL DRIVE FROM Beverly Hills OUT THERE and ask LIVE on Friday. I like your store normally over the mess at the stores near my home and office! dr. g.

Thankfully I discovered the Apple Store in Simi Valley … walking thru the lineup of greeters, headed to the Genius Bar, I was warmly welcomed with happy faces and smiles. I presented my "Genius" with one screwed up MacBook Pro. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised with his patience, knowledge and all the time spent with me in resolving my Mac problems … and there were many. While there are many famous Marios I am calling my Genius "Super Mario". I left as one happy camper with my MacBook back to normal. Thank you, again, Mario you are the best!
