I should have read the reviews here, as I had similar experience. They charged extra for mailing a certified mail packet. She swiped my card and when I asked to give receipt for the services charged, she bluntly refused and said that we do not give receipts for sending mails related to income tax. WHAT?? This had absolutely no reasoning as no matter where we send mail, if they are charging us, they should let us know the amount for the services - Postage, certified fee, other services fees, total amount. Even the certified mail slip has these fields and should be filled. After this when I was not able to track the package online with a message "online tracking not available for this package" I called the her, just to have another blunt reply that I will have to contact the postal service and she wont do anything about it. I have not written many reviews but this one was well deserved.

After talking to the middle aged Asian looking lady, I wasnt sure my package would actually reach destination through their service. "Were just UPS franchise, we just give to the UPS guys and they decide what to do with it." She was rude with people, "next time dont use paper tapes" - probably trying to sale tapes. Was also encouraging to leave without taking receipts. Didnt feel they were taking responsibility at all. I left and went to the UPS store in the Castro street, I was greeted with professionalism I usually associate with UPS, and had my job done there. UPS should investigate and train these people - theyre giving a bad name to UPS!

Went here today to mail a package that I had printed the label for. I walked in and the lady was busy with a FedEx guy, after a few minutes she greeted me and I asked if I could borrow her tape to tape up only the top of my package. She said it would be $1 to use the tape. Having worked at a place that ships a lot of packages for people I was very disappointed that she was charging me for something that should just be considered the cost of business in such a store. I told her never mind and I would go somewhere else... she said "fine" but next time make sure to have it taped... Ill be surprised if there will be a next time for me here.

Went there to notarize some documents, the lady was very rude when I wanted to notarize some documents. I had 6 pages of photocopies of passport pages, she insisted that she will notarize each document i.e. $10/page = $60. I told her that I have notarized photocopies of my passport pages in the past and they were notarized as a single booklet instead of individual page. She bluntly told me to notarize somewhere else if I wanted to. She just wanted to earn $50 extra for nothing. Robbery I say. I gladly left for another UPS store and they notarized for $10 for 6 pages as a booklet.

The employees at this store scam their customers. I was charged $30 for a printing job that the UPS website said was $14. When I went in to ask about why the price Id paid was so different, the woman said that it was because Id used the computer in the store. My receipt was itemized -- $2 for the use of the computer, $27 for the printing job, so her explanation made no sense whatsoever and I can only conclude that theyre skimming off the top at the expense of their customers. I will not be going back to this store.

Very unruly service. We relocated and had packages shipped, including 2 items freight. Store was supposed to call upon arrival as UPS had not been able to provide a tracking number. Owner called 5 days after arrival saying we needed to pay $100 for 5 days of storage and pick up the pkgs. Not a nice person, threatened to return the freight items (1600$ fee) less we pay what was not our responsibility. Very bad business practices and unprofessional. Would reconsider using this location.

As other reviews have stated, the lady at this store is extremely rude. We tried to get some documents notarized today and you could tell she had decided she wasnt going to help us even before we walked in the door. We were signing closing papers on our house in another state and they needed to be sent before the weekend. She refused us the service claiming she couldnt notarized our papers. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

Terrible service! Ive been to many other UPS store to drop off our Amazon prepaid package, but weve never seen such a terrible service. The lady in the counter wont help attach the labels for us like other store would do. Thats fine. But she even charge us for the tape. Also the way she talked us also annoyed me a lot. Shes very rude to customer.

One of my worst experience...I cant give zero star..... I have been waiting for my package from past 3 hours....their website states that the package was out for delivery at 4.29 AM...and it is 9 PM now...still my package is not yet delivered......Horrible experience....I would never opt for this UPS delivery outlet....

Extremely bad experience. The lady was rude. Online the store hours were mentioned till 5pm but she said she closes notary services at 4:30pm. I think she decides her own hours. On top of that she was extremely rude. I should have checked the reviews before heading there. Save your time and do not go there!

Worst UPS store I have ever been to, DO NOT GO HERE for NOTARY there is the guy name ALI who claims to be a Notary and does not know how to Notary even a simple Passport form......When asked to correct his mistake he would not do it and we lost time and money because of his attitude and incompetence.

Today, I Got charged two dollars to drop off a ups package.... my package was open. And before that went here to drop off a different package got charged a couple dollars for tape Im guessing, to drop off another ups package and even bought package popcorn.. They must be making a killing on tape..

Ive been going here for 5+ years, and was refused service on a recent visit. Needed to get a document notarized, had brought my co-signer, it was 30 minutes before closing, with 2 staff and no one behind us in line, and was told "were too busy. Come back tomorrow." No, thanks; I wont be back.

Really the worst UPS ever! Even the worst customer service ever (not just UPS!!!). Should be closed or replaced by UPS! Very rude; Even trying to save the receipts and ask people to take a picture instead. Tell you to tape the label before going so they can save the UPS label tape? WTF!

Absolutely horrible service. Charged me a dollar for taping a small box and when handing back my change he threw the money on the counter before I could even grab it. I wouldnt be surprised if my package ends up being half beaten up by the careless staff at this store.

I dropped my package there but after two weeks they told me that they have never received it. The guy who received my package asked me if I need a receipt and I being stupid said "no" because I was running out of time. So no $80 package, no refund. Angry!
