This review is for the Ross location at: 119 E El Camino Real, Sunnyvale, CA 94087 (Next to Sprouts and Office Depot) Two days ago, I visited this Ross location to return an item. I encountered an issue with the cashier which did not want to accept my return and told me that it is better for me to do the return to the store location I bought the item from, which is all the way at Mountain View, she also insisted that it is because they need to access the video camera. I was shocked from hearing this, I did not want to further insist because I know she will not process my return and also because she is way elder to me. I approached the protection asset staff by the door named "Hector" and asked him where I can file a complaint. He asked me my situation and was kind enough to call the manager name "Mansour". When the manager came out and heard what my situation is, he then apologized for the inconvenience and told one of the other cashiers to perform my return transaction and it went through as it should be "without any problems". I really would like to commend "Hector", the Asset Protection personnel and "Mansour", the Manager for giving me excellent customer service and preventing what could have been a bad customer experience!

Today, I shopped at the Ross at the Sunnyvale, CA location. The staff there was unusually rude. Especially a lady called YU at the return counter was extremely rude in her selection of words and her body language. Not just me but everyone standing in the line felt this. There was no clear demarkation between the purchase and returns line. If someone by mistake landed at the purchase counter but was intending to return this lady shouted at them and ordered them to stand again at the end of the line. She did this to 2 people in front of me one of them was a very elderly lady who because of all the commotion had to stand at the end of the line for a simple return. Other rude staff was the lady standing outside fitting room. She was very uncooperative and was speaking arrogantly. I had taken some friends along with me and was speaking very highly of Ross but was very embarrased after such behavior by the staff. I dont think I am ever going to this Ross again, or any other for that matter.

The Ross on El Camino in Sunnyvale is the bomb! I recently went in just to blow some time, and $165 later I am skipping to my car with awesome Christmas stuff, gifts, and some stuff for myself! Considering the business they do, it was very orderly. And I really cant believe the selection of gifts and Christmas baskets and sets and wrapping paper and gourmet treats they had. I was over the moon on this shopping trip!

Good if you want to buy inexpensive bags and shoes, and also cutlery stuff sometimes totally worth it. I never buy dresses here, really low quality. I always scan the section where they keep automobile and bicycle accessories you usually get to see some useful stuff once in a while.

Ross has some terrific buys. I got a pair of jeans, a jean jacket, a formal dress, a formal bag, a box of green tea, and a very nice toy for my grandson for under 60 dollars. The staff is nice and I always find something I need whenever I go in there.

Lives up to its motto, dress for less. You need to spend some time to get to the right stuff, but if you find it, it would be a great deal for sure. The home decor section has some nice and interesting stuff including lampshades, bar accessories etc.

This is the worst experience Ive ever had at a Ross, I was harassed and treated like I was going to steal something. I will never return here again. I am a paying customer and dont deserve to be treated like this!! Sincerely, Omar Lopez.

Ross is my favourite shop to visit everywhere. I will certainly find some branded stuff at a cheap price. My husband brought a Levi jeans pants here which SF outlet dont have the size for this design for just $24.99.

I think they should say "Shop for less"... Though they have huge amount of dresses they also have other items which they sell and once in a while you get the best deal which you cant compare anywhere.. kudos to that.

Its a big store but customer service was horrible. They dont define clearly the line and once the cashier called up the customer she then send him back to line because she wanted to ring up purchase first.

This Ross has a lot of variety and is usually fully stocked with items. This location has a better mens selection than womens. The store organization and upkeep is subpar as it is usually messy.

The website states the store opens at 8:30am but the door says 9:30am. One of the two needs to be corrected. Unless this does not apply to the El Camino department store
