If I could give a zero, I absolutely would. I brought my laptop in because I accidentally spilled water on it while saving a kitten from a burning building (no, I was just dumb). I knew I ended up shorting something, and that I was going to have a hard time sourcing the parts. One of Central Computers tenets of conducting business is training their technical staff to also handle sales, so that they can keep costs low, and you really just end up with a bunch of techs who dont know how to properly interact with customers and set expectations. I was quoted a 7-9 day turnaround for my system because it would have to be sent to an offsite repair house. That time came and went, and no one had so much as powered on my system. I called every other day 6 or 7 times and received the constant "well we dont have any updates from our repair house". I continued to hound and badger them until they were finally able to tell me that the motherboard was fried and they would have to order a new one. Well then the first motherboard came in non-functional so they had to order a new one. At this point, Im getting pretty upset, because theyve had the system twice as long as they quoted me. It gets better. Because I use Google Chrome, I can sync my web searches across my multiple devices, and because I didnt sign out of my laptops Chrome session before it crashed, I was able to see that the techs servicing my system were looking at Vietnamese blogs and listening to Frank Oceans new album. Talk about unprofessional! I worked IT for years, and I never used a users system for personal use. I eventually got my system back, one day shy of a month later. Beyond angry, the manager only knocked $80 off my repair, so I still ended up paying $329 for a motherboard and a month of lost productivity. Absolutely avoid this place.

I took my computer to their service counter, after first phoning the place and describing the problem in detail, and when I got there, I barely had a chance to speak more than a couple of words before the skinny little prick interrupted me and said they wouldnt fix it. I didnt even have a chance to tell him what the problem was! When I tried to point out to him that thats not what Id been told over the phone, he asked by whom (like I should know who their staff is and who answers the phone at such-and-such time in their store) and I said I didnt know, and I also said that it was rude for him to interrupt a customer that way, he interrupted again and said that he didnt want to waste a lot of time on "chatting." When I tried to complain to a manager about the attitude of the little schmuck, I got a lot of doubletalk from the person I spoke to at the cash-register, who--again--interrupted me, not listening to my complaint. In short: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IN THIS DUMP! Not unless youre a masochist and you enjoy subjecting yourself to some of the worst customer "service" on the face of the earth. Take your business elsewhere; your blood-pressure will thank you for it. Ive dealt with other Central Computer stores, and Ive NEVER dealt with customer "service" this bad in any of them!

I recently had a computer built at Central Computers and Im very happy with it. I looked around for computers at other stores and online in my price range, but didnt find exactly what I wanted. I live across the street from this store and have gotten my laptop fixed there previously, so I went in there. Chris was very nice and helped me pick out all the components, while still keeping the cost under my budget. He was very patient with all my questions about the pluses and minuses with each thing and never tried to pressure me to buy something more expensive or any unnecessary extras. Putting it together only cost $60 and they had it done in two days. I looked at other stores for a monitor and speakers, but ended up buying them from Central because their prices were better. I dont know why people are always telling everyone to go to Frys. They may have a lot of stuff, but I didnt see any bargains and the employees are idiots. Plus, I like dealing with a local company that can fix my machine in-house if something goes wrong. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a computer or components. Even if you arent sure what you want, they can give you options and a free quote on a system.

The staff at this location are so helpful and knowledgeable. I was trying to get the necessary attachments to hook up a shared screen and they actually walked with me to the aisle where the items were stocked and showed me all the possible configurations I could go with... I honestly have never gotten so much assistance in any computer store. Their inventory is pretty extensive as well. Perfect for the person who is not as computer or electronic saavy... I highly recommend!

b Been using thes epeople for 4 years. Very helpful in finding parts, systems, repairs all reasonably priced. They may not be the lowest priced but the prices are fair and the people tech savvy. I do not mind paying a little more to get top service and this has been my experience. I take all my computer needs there from rack servers to laptops and accessories.

Good selections of electronics, especially if it is phone/tablet/PC/servers related. Not as big as Frys but have better selections. Also good place to get server related things which Frys does not have. It is the place for DIYers. Not a lot of complete systems or laptop. You need to go to either Costcos or Frys for that.

The service is great! we had a problem with our computer so we came to Central Computers after going to another lab which identified the problem wrong and requested a crazy price of $300! I strongly recommend Central Computers if you need a cheap and good computer repair store!

I have been using centralcomputer for years. They have the best prices and best best customer service! I had several RMA requests and all of them came around faster then anywhere from any store. The people there are good people and they trully put the customer service first.

If youre a DIYer, you must check this place out. The store is small, but its fairly packed with stuff, even more so than other places. I found some obscure cables and adapters here at a fraction of the price compared to similar stores.

I prefer going to Central Computers over heading out to Frys. They always seem to have better prices and have what I need. Keep in mind that this place is about 1/50th the size, but its still a great store.

These folks make it easy to buy from them. Convenient location, dedicated parking, helpful staff, inventory kept stocked. When I go in with a specific need, I consistently leave with that need filled.

The selection of parts is amazing. Service is good and prices are reasonable. I needed a new laptop charger, they showed me what I needed, and I was able to test the part before purchase.
