Terrible, terrible. Tracy is closed and with good reason. Customer service is in the sewers. And Stockton is next. I called to check stock on the Nook. They had one and said they would hold it for me. When I arrived to pick it up, they had none. Manager apologized nad walked away without any attempt to be accommodating due to their error. So I left. I then went their website and clicked on the "pick me up" program for Nook where they locate the item desired and send a confirming email notifying you which store you can pick the item up at. I received the email and drove to the store that had the Nook. Upon arrival I was told they never received an email to reserve the Nook I wanted and were sold out. Again, that manager did not make any effort to help me out or order one to arrive overnight at their expense, which would be the customer service that is expected due to their error. I left empty handed again. Called supervisor for their website orders/issues and she was horrible and refused to help me acquire the Nook I wanted to buy and have it shipped to my local store. (we have kids in our neighborhood that steal packages off doorsteps the last month and I expressed my worry that a package shipped to my house may be stolen) she did not care and kept repeating herself as if reading from a dialog. I will be purchasing a Kindle. Glad the stores are all closing because they are unprofessional and obviously do not know how to take care of their customers.

I was trying to return an item I bought for my daughter. It was a pen and ink set but it wasnt what she thought it was going to be. I go to the front counter and some woman with dark brown or black long hair kind of short tells me that she cannot give me my money back because the ink has been opened and didnt try to do anything further. I then walk away and as Im walking through the back door to enter into the mall I see the man who had helped me the day before when I bought it. I asked him if I could return things even if it has been opened. He told me to hold on and he called the manager for me. The manager said that they dont usually do it but he would do it for me that day. I just appreciate SIM for taking the extra mile and going out of his way to help me, my daughter will be so happy to hear that I was able to get her hard earned money back from her summer job. Thanks again SIM, youre awesome! Now everytime i go into barnes and noble, Ill look for him.

This review is for their website and phone customer service (since I couldnt find where to write a review there). Anyway, absolutely horrible. I went online to rent some test books August 19th. After waiting over a week for my card and order to get processed I called. They never emailed me telling me that one of my books was unable to ship because they didnt have any more. They never processed the other part of my order until I called. The customer service agent told me that my card successfully went through and they were shipping the rest of my order and I was to receive it in 2 business days. After waiting 4 I finally received an email this time telling me they were out of that book as well and my order was canceled. If this wasnt for school I wouldnt be so upset, however this has to be the worse experience Ive ever had with a store. I will never shop here again.

Starbucks in this Barnes and Nobles is terrible. They made my Chai Tea frappuccino very weak, and the first one was all milk and chunks of ice! I asked them to remake it and I got a sarcastic sneer. The two workers there didnt even want to hear my friendly critisim, they just interupted me and said "next time bring it to us before you drink half of it", how rude! One of the workers was very angry looking the whole time, it just ruined my homley experience. Who hires all these idiot children who dont appreciate their job? I know alot of people who would work there with a big smile on their face every day.

Although sadly, I dont read as often as I should, I could spend hours and hours here perusing through their wide variety of books. They also have a kids section with seating and tables for them to read at, as well as a digital media section with DVDs and other digital formats. Nice variety of collectables and "thinking" childrens toys.

Today I happen to drop by and get me a Starbucks drink until I saw their little menu on the side inspired by the wonderwoman movie! I got myself a deadly Diana it was just a vanilla bean covered in WONDERful colors :) it was delicious! I shall come back to try another drink!

Ive had so many great times here. Every time I go it is a blast! Tea always perfectly brewed, so much to look at and buy! theres always a large clearance area sometimes there are two one in the front and one in the back of the store. Love buying my kiddo stuff from here.

The bookstore itself is nice. One can normally find the books they are looking for and if not the staff are there to help. College students can sometimes fill up the seats at the starbucks. Its in the mall so its also convenient when shopping for other things.

Went there to use the WiFi from the in-store Starbucks. Good food and drink, and the baristas are nice, but the WiFi kinda sucks. The atmosphere of being at a Starbucks inside a bookstore is really cool though.

I was looking for specific books for my sons school summer reading assignments. The salesperson walked us through the store, helping us find everything we needed. Very helpful! Always neat and well organized!

Avoid the café, the pastries sit there for days getting stale. Friendly staff outside the café, good selection of magazines and books. Well stocked and organized. The café dropped my rating from 5 stars.

Terrible customer service by the younger workers unless you ask a manager for help. VERY VERY RUDE employees. I will be shopping at Borders from now on. Its much more organized and cleaner there anyways.

The bookstore is great but the Starbucks and students doesnt always go well. Luckily Ive never had a problem. Parking is crowded but its the mall therefore its no surprise. Starbucks is usually packed.

I love not having to ask my kids about books anymore. The staff is always sooooo helpful. They offer to look up a book if it isnt in the store and ship it to you for free, if youre a member.

Barnes and Noble is great today! I am here now, able to work quietly in the cafe. Surrounded by college students who are working well. It reminds me of my college days
