Just wanted to drop a note to tell all what a wonderful experience my family and I had at this location. Running around on the weekends with a four and ten year old in tow is a daunting experience, especially in a shop so full of colorful "toys" for artful children. The staff took time to speak with them, answer questions, as well as generally make them feel welcomed and, dare I say, peers in the art world. Their web match policy is top notch. That, paired with a 20% off coupon kicked over to me for assisting with an operational inquiry on an item Id previously purchased, made for a surprisingly competitive cost that will have me returning very, very soon!

They are essentially one of the only art supply stores anywhere but I wont lie when I say that I had better service and experiences at the now gone Utrecht. Blicks pricing is always confusing. One price thats the supposed retail price and then their price. When they have sales they confuse it further by giving you a third price thats subtracted from the retail price to make it seem like a better deal than it is.

Visited the store for the first time today and was amazed with their selection. I was very well treated by the korean owner and would definitely recommend this for a friend! Loved it and cant wait to go back for more art supplies!

They carry a decent selection of materials and the people working there are friendly. The store is well organized. I think the prices could be a littler cheaper, but art supplies are usually pricey wherever you go.

Prety good selection of art supplies; I had my list for Zorn pallette (a special selection of oil colors for portrait painting), I walked in and found everything I needed in the brand required.

Parking in a Santa Monica or Venice is normally bad. The place has plenty of parking. Block is a great place to purchase specialty art supplies. Staff is great.
