I came in today to return some fabric that I had bought. Was very happy that I was able to return it. I was instructed to go over to the place where they measure so the lady could measure and then return what was there. Bonnie helped me out and she was not friendly at all. I had my receipt taped to the thing that the fabric was wrapped around, because I didnt want to loose it and I thought they would want it back. She just ripped the receipt off and told me she didnt need it. Never made eye contact. Just wasnt friendly at all. Then a woman asked her a question while she was measuring my fabric and she just raised her hand to shhhhh the lady instead of saying something like, just one minute please. When the lady asked her question, she just said, I dont know, over by the t-shirts and the lady didnt look happy with her response. I would not have been. Just unfriendly.

It really is a blessing to have a Jo-anns in Torrance. I can make a quick stop after work or leisurely spend my weekends here. If you like to try your hand at new crafts then this is the perfect place for you. They have all the basics you need and they are organized in a simple way. However if you focus on only one craft then you will find this store lacking after a few visits. They dont get many new products unless you count the seasonal ones. Their fabric collection is small. Their yarn selection is few. I usually just order these online. Also never pay full price for anything in that store. They up the prices because they throw coupons at you like your a prized stripper. You can get coupons through snail mail, email, or texts (I get all three). Look into this before you go!

I came here with a short amount of time. I knew what aisle to go to for what I was purchasing (paint markers). Like any other store paint and paint accessories are locked behind a glass door. The only downside was the amount of customer service available to open this glass door. And it was poor. The register was busy, I had no idea what an associate who worked here looked like. Once I found someone who I thought was a worker she was speaking to another worker about something. This was like 5-10 minutes into entering the store. Instead of being in an out I wasted more time than I shouldve. I ended up leaving and going to Target . If I have 30 minutes to kill Ill go shop at joanns next time

JoAnn ran out most of the decent fabric stores within a 10 mile radius. If youre looking for nice fabric, dont look here. Half the selection is cottons for quilting and the other half is polar fleece - even in July! Hello! How much polar fleece can you use five miles from the beach?! I agree, the employees dont know how to sew or craft and are useless if you have a question. The only thing good are their 40% coupons.

Joann Stores advertised irons on sale. In store, there were only empty boxes for the Rowentas. Finally tracked down staff and they directed me to the cashiers while they obtained the two irons I was interested in seeing. This was useless since they do not allow you to test the weight of the irons or even view the actual iron. They also sell sewing machines and Im certain nobody is buying these sight unseen.

Great place for your artistic shopping needs regarding: customize linen, unique fabrics, painting merchandise, variety of frames and any other arts and crafts you desire. This place has it all. The sales staff is friendly and brisk, the manager keeps a tight ship everything is tiptop shape, organized and clean and the aisles are ample with plenty a room to feel comfortable walking.

This is my favorite local craft store. They have a great selection of fabrics, yarn and other crafting supplies. The staff is very friendly and try to help as much as they can. As for the reviewer that said that their selection is small, well, theyve clearly never been to a regular joanns store. This location is two to the times the size of a regular joanns! I love this store!

I dont know who gave that store a bad review, but I have never had a bad experience in that store. I once watched a sales woman be verbally abused by a costumer until I couldnt stand it anymore. I told the costumer she was in the wrong and to please treat the sales person with respect. I later told the manager how professional the sales person was during the whole ordeal.

Since this is the only Jo-Anns that is close by, I am kind of forced to shop here. I wish that Micheals carried more of the Cricut products but it doesnt anymore or else I would totally stop shopping at Jo-Anns. The customer service is rude!!!!! You can hardly find anyone to help you even on a slow day during the week. This is really sad for such a big crafting chain...

Tons of fabrics to choose from here as well as art supplies. Highly recommend if you are looking for something very specific, its probably here. In my opinion, some fabrics were a little expensive (compared to some prices i have seen in downtown LA fabric shops) but like i said there are tons of options here so you will likely find what you are looking for here.

Saw fabric online that said was available in store. I stopped by but couldnt find it. After finally finding a worker and showing her the picture on their website, she said "its in novelty" and just walked off. Spoiler alert: I had already looked there and it wasnt there. Thanks for the "help."

Its Jo-Ann, what more could I say. (If you dont know, Jo-Ann is like Michaels but with fabric and lots of sales.). Note: if the lady cutting your fabric is grumpy just ask for another. Out of 8 years buying here, thats the only hang up Ive ever had really.

Really great classes being offered at the Torrance location with a very friendly staff. Kids classes too! Great for summer coming up. I find all the associates very nice and helpful. If they dont know and answer they find someone who does.

Very well organized store, took me seconds to find buttons, needles, ribbons, and more. Has everything you would ever need (including every imaginable fabric, so many options!!) Exceeded my expectations for any arts and crafts store.

Staff is friendly is my biggest take away. Its a craft store, and a big one. You will be hard pressed to be lacking ideas when browsing, but good luck navigating if youre looking for something very specific.
