The selection and prices at Big 5 are better than most other Sporting Goods stores. The staff is kind and friendly and help you find what you are looking for. Sales are ongoing and what you want is normally in stock or they will order it for you.

Great store. Sometimes you have to ask for help but the staff has always been willing to help and or found someone knowledgeable that can answer my questions. Great return policy, bring the receipt and theyll help you out (no time limit).

How can you advertise yourself as "one of America s top retailers of name brand sporting goods" and not carry handguns? Do you have an issue with California law or are you just trying to be "politically correct"?

You really need to know what you want before you come in. The store is small and the employees not terribly helpful. I got here for sporting clays and theyre stored in a bunch of Hodge podge areas.

A big sporting goods store.... for you! Staff is always helpful. The gun selection is pretty lacking. DO NOT buy shoes here, cheap and fall apart easily.
