The Main Place Mall is alive and in need for some spirit. I come here often for lunch, picking from an assortment of about 7 different take out places in their food court. Come lunch time, this mall is packed with people trying to find the perfect bit to meet their mid day hunger. I love coming here to see the liveliness of lunch. However, post lunch, when I use this mall to cut from Main St. to Pearl, it lacks luster. There are a few stores, including Payless, Footlocker, GMC, and a few independently owned clothing stores. One of my favorite places here is the coffee shop, the Coffee Roastery. It is located right on Main St., so you can enter from either the mall or Main. I highly recommend ALL of their coffee flavor shots, and their iced teas. Cannot wait to see what is in store for the Main Place Mall. Downtown desperately needs some retail shops for the growing population, and this is the perfect spot to host them!

My wife and I will NEVER shop at this mall again. We live in Tustin and have shopped in Santa Ana for many years. Being centrally located, we have many places to choose from. My wife choose to shop here about two weeks ago for some clothes at JC Penney. She was in the mall for about an hour and came out to find a ticket on our car for not having a front license plate. Really? In the mall parking lot??? I dont deny that we dont have a front license plate mounted. We drive a BMW convertible and it looks much better without the front plate. What really bugs me is that we choose to shop in Santa Ana, and the Santa Ana PD doesnt have anything better to do than cruise the mall parking lot generating revenue for the city. We will NEVER shop at this mall again and I can assure you that we will not be spending our hard earned money in Santa Ana anytime soon.

This mall is nearest to my home and on my way home from work so its my go-to spot for most shopping mall needs. Parking can be challenging but if you park in the back, near the JC Penny entrance, youll get better parking. The mall has a good variety of stores and has most of the major clothing retailers you might need. My biggest complaint with this mall is the placement of escalators. There are escalators only at the very ends of the mall and one elevator in the middle. It makes it very inconvenient to move from floor to floor and forces you into a crowded elevator that moves pretty slowly. I wish they had some regular staircases throughout the mall to allow for easier movement. The food court isnt bad but could use some variety.

I went to the Mall to browse the deals and take in a Movie. Until...Some massive guy eyeing me with 2 uniformed security officers would not stop staring at me as if I was being targeted for something. Curious, I approached this man and asked if everything was alright. Shockingly, he acts aggressive and intimidating without reason while the Officers were visibly laughing at me. This man told me to leave his Mall or I would have a "problem". (Threat) I left and spoke to outside Security, to find out this large man was the Head of Security. I was told there is nothing I could do about it. Oh yeah, I wont shop or recommend it to anyone as long as that Bully is working there.

Awesome mall to hangout. They have an awesome little bowling alley, they also have an arcade, and a $2 movie theatre! Also I Love going to Charleys Philly Stakes in the food court! They have bomb strawberry lemonade, fries with cheese/bacon/ranch, and the best Philly steaks!! The mall also has a little trampoline next to the kids play area. Plus they also have a train that children and their parents can pay to ride around the mall, or the children can ride while adults lounge in the massage chairs conveniently placed. Lol I kinda miss the instant burrito machine that they used to have by the entrance. Haha

They have done a lot to improve this Mall in the last few years. There is a lot of new food places and there is also a wide variety of stores. The apparance overall of the mall has improved and it really is a great one stop for a lot of things. There is a new 24 hour Fitness and bowling alley. The discount theater has always been one of my favorites. Movie and a hot dog for $3! Cant really go wrong there. Only thing missing from this mall is a big box store like Target for more general good especially groceries. However there is a Mothers market across the street!

I grew up with this mall, through the years you see store comes and goes, but now the mall seems very run down. There are still a lot of different stores in there and business seems to be doing alright. A lot of the big stores are slowly closing and a lot of smaller stores are replacing them. I think the quality of this mall was never that great, but in recent years. The internet has taken over and you see the chances in consumers. Given, there are still a lot more people walking the mall, but mostly window shopping.

I dont like this mall because I always get lost driving around and trying to find parking close to where Im trying to be. At other malls they have clear signs about which direction to go so u can drive with more ease. I only go there because of Picture Show (which is GREAT) but not for the restaurants coz its always crowded and packed with screaming kids. And for clothes shopping I dont go to Macys or Nordstrom, I go to Platos Closet or Buffalo Exchange. So bye Main Place Mall, wild horses can drag me there.

Todas las tiendas en un sólo lugar y a buen precio. Me gusta porque es un Mall techado y la perfecta opción para cuando llueve o hace mucho frío. Tienen un lounge familiar padrísimo para cambiar a los bebés del pañal.

Me gusta porque es un lugar donde puedes encontrar bonita ropa y hay variedad de comida y además hay un local donde te dan unos masajes muy relajantes para tu espalda se los recomiendo "Diamond" es el lugar

Omg the Cinnabon is amazing. I go here for that . Dont dress in crappie clothing . Everyone wears $ 90 dollar t shirts here . Super fashionable here. If youre not dresses up here the mall cops will approach you and follow you. They will stop following when you leave. Such good security is hard to get these days . Check out the food court . Plenty of parking . Victoria secret here is huge and has everything.

This mall has always been my go to mall from back in the day when I used to work there. I definitely do not get tired of this place, and it has some high end stores which I like. The food court could be a little bit better if your looking for more of a variety. Parking is kind of crazy at times. You can spend some time driving around though. Its only a 4 star because of the parking and food court.

Only three stars now that Nordstrom is gone. That being said, if malls are dying in America, this one continues to thrive. Ironically, that makes the experience of going to this mall less pleasant, since it can be busy. The food court has some modern options. Ive seen the movie theater sell out for kids shows. Not great, but I know I will go back, even if I dont really want to.
