Way way way understaffed and under appreciated grooming team have no incentive to do a good job or provide excellent service. What you get is your standard get em in and get em out grooming. Unlike other Petsmart locations, this team does not get tips and there are only two of them (that I could see on a busy Saturday morning). So, after you wait for three weeks to get an appointment - you will be massively disappointed with the attitudes of the staff and the quality of the service. When mentioning this concern and observation to the Manager, Carlos, it was immediately clear why these problems continue to exist. On a busy Saturday, he was not there to help the two groomers check in and greet - rather nowhere to be found. Further, talking to the store manager, Eddie, I found was even less concerned or interested in understanding the issue.

BANDFIELD VET HOSPITAL Went in July 5th my collie who had a very large SPLINTER on his paw. The gal in the front couldnt take me in. Didnt have the courtesy to have the doctor come out to look at my collie. I felt She was very heartless. I have been paying monthly premiums for 8 years now for my collie to belong to Banfield and still I couldnt be seen. This type of nurse assistant doesnt belong working in a vet hospital. I felt no compassion from her part. I went to Peninsula Vet emergency where we were greeted in such a caring way. I was told there was a wait. At the end I was totally satisfied with the care we received at Peninsula Vet.

Usually like PetSmart and enjoyed the location in Minnesota we used to go to but just moved to California and set up an appointment over the phone with the San Mateo location a few days in advance. When I went there with my dog for his appointment, they didnt have the appointment in their system so I had to set a new appointment and will need to come back. Not sure if this is a sign for future appointments but hopefully not. They gave me a reminder card for the appointment but I think they should have kept the card for themselves.

Hire a sociopathic groomer who returned a couples dog brutalized. The dog had blood foaming from his mouth and and broken ribs. Of course the poor baby died within minutes. Try and tell your customers thats an accident. They didnt give any reason and continue to operate today without any care to their real customers. Petsmart is run by disgusting people, if they are even people. I will never shop at Petsmart again.

The news of the little dog that was abused has reached england...what a disgraceful company ...this company needs shutting down.who would even employoy someone who looks like that retard he looks a mess if hed done that while i was working there i would of smacked the ugly looking pig the news has gone viral so i hope the branch gets shut down and there made bankrupt serves them right for employing the pig !

Maybe someone should go done there and give them a taste of what this little dashaund got that killed him,his name was henry, he should not die in vain, animals are helpless and there is no one at this store willing to speak up for them so if you stay open good luck with that because there will be no one speaking for YOU!!!, no one to help you when hell rains down upon you!

Theres always someone offering to help you. They willingly price match for Amazon Prime which saves me time and money (cuz my cat isnt going to be happy waiting two days for food). Their animals appear taken care of, which is comforting. I enjoy taking my daughter through.

DO NOT trust this place unsupervised with your pet. A dachshund was just murdered 3 minutes into the grooming session. If you must go, ask to remain present during all times and do not leave your pet alone with these people.

Its a pretty dirty store. Some of the employees are helpful, but why go here when you can go to a cleaner petco or petfoodexpress. Its dark in the store as well. I go here but it isnt my go to for pet supplies.
