Oh My God!!! Do you realize that some commercially made dog foods (even some of the so-called "Premium" pet foods) are made with the rendered remains from other animals?!?!?! even cats and dogs with flea collars and diseases and ones that have been euthanized from the pound?!? WTF, People?!? That is just heart-wrenchingly sick and disgusting! I am SOOOO happy to have found Natural Pet NW!!! The staff is totally friendly and they are a full service food store that sells every different kind of organic and all natural pet foods. My dogs are 10+ years old now and they act just like puppies and I know it has everything to do with their diet. Natural Pet NW has everything from dog food to bird food and even natural pet supplies as well... I have been coming here for years and I would never even consider going anywhere else... It is AWESOME!!! If you love your pet, you have to get in here and read some of the literature and then find out exactly what your animals are really eating and make sure it is good for them!!! Make sure you are feeding your pets real food and not filler or rendered pets from the pound... you never know!!! Luckily the gals at NPNW will shoot you straight and you wont have to worry about feeding a fido to fluffy!

I had been shopping there for 5 months spending around $250.00 dollars a month between dog food, cat food and toys. I bought a toy that was recommended (Aussie Naturals) gave it to my dog and with in 20 minutes it was coming apart at the seems. I brought it back to the store the very next day expecting at the least an exchange for the poor product. I was told the owner was the only person that could give credits OR exchange products so I left the toy there with my name and number and was told the owner would call me the next day. After a week of hearing nothing, I went back into the store and was told they had been busy and the owners reply to my concerns were for me SEW the toy! REALLY? REALLY? They explained that they cant predict how their products are going to hold up and that there are no guarantees. So in the end I spent $17.00 on a toy that held up for 20 minutes and that is my problem according to them. I will be shopping elsewhere, and when I tried to convey this to the nice lady that works there she just said she would pass it along to the owner. I suggest you not waste your time or money on this store. There are plenty of natural pet stores in the area that would LOVE the business.

Natural Pet NW has been our go to store for the last 10 years. We have three mini long hair Dachshunds and NPNW has been supplying us with pet food, toys, supplements, beds and so much more. The staff is knowledgeable and honest - even letting us know where we can find something somewhere else if they dont carry it. On the topic of dog toys...mine can destroy a soft stuffed toy within 15 minutes. They can have the squeaker out in 20 minutes along with the stuffing. The way that I look at it - they had a great time! That is what you are paying for - if its still salvageable definitely sew it up. But guaranteed its going to be torn apart again. Maybe those with aggressive chewers should get an appropriate chew type toy. If you are super disappointed the issue is with the actual company that made the toy - contact them and see what their guarantee is. I cannot address the concerns of high prices - but I do know that in a tough economy we have to support our local businesses. There are many cities that dont have independent pet stores such as NPNW so we are fortunate that we have access to quality products.

I am a loyal customer to NW Natural Pet, after my dad recommended the store to me. This is not your Joe Blow PetCo, Petsmart, run by lost and uneducated staff, this place is amazing! They ladies in here are extremely knowlegable and can help you find almost everything youre looking for. They support local businesses by selling their products, and they have very good products-- pet food, supplements, homeopathic health stuff, grooming products, squishy dog bed, fun and cute dog toys. .. The list goes on. I dont have anything but great things to say about the sweet and helpful ladies who work here. You are treated very well here, like family, and they are awesome people with awesome products. You could say this store is super "bitchin" lol get it? :P

I have been shopping at Natural Pet NW for 13 years, through 3 dogs and 2 cats. Sheri and Danni are extremely knowledgeable and treat my furbaby with as much love and attention as they do their own. Recently, my 10 month old puppy was losing weight and having frequent upset stomach. It seemed like we were in the vet more weeks than not. Thanks to Danni and Sheri my pup has gained weight and is back to her normal playful, loving self. We used to visit other pet stores, and many of them are fine. However, if I want to buy researched, quality food, treats, toys, and supplements at a reasonable price, I go to Natural Pet NW.

We regularly shop at Natural Pet NW for our dog and cat needs. We have dogs with food allergies and cats who (due to eating generic cat food) have urinary tract problems that the staff has helped us work through. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the products they carry. There is one woman in particular who can be a little too opinionated, but her intentions are good, and you can tell that she is a true pet lover. She is always our go-to person with questions about any product. I would absolutely recommend this store to friends and family.

If every toy that was sold and chewed up was reimbursed, no pet supply store could stay in business. There are some manufactures who will guarantee the product, which should have been the recommendation. We do stand by our products and regret the situation did not work out for you. Ive been shopping at Natural Pet NW since Vicki opened it years ago. Not only are the products of the highest quality (Vicki is VERY choosy about what she carries in her store), but her staff is knowledgeable, experienced, and just make you and your pet feel right at home. People who love their animals should check this store out. It may cost a bit more to buy high quality food and treats, but my pets are worth every penny I spend.

Very informative and knowledgeable with natural foods and alternatives for pet. They offer military discount, which is great for active military or veterans on a budget while keeping their pets in mind. Large selection to chose from. Very well organized and stocked up. You can special order items here. They even offer to help you carry out. I am very impressed with their quality of service.

Excellent array of grain free foods and raw foods for my doggos dietary health and an outstanding selection of toys, beds, crates and every other sundry you could think of for the neds of your dog or cat. My wife and I have been customers here for a long time now and have always had outstanding customer service! Highyl recommended!
