I love this place because if I need to get coffee theres starbucks there. If I decide I need some household supplies I can stop by target. If I need a quick outfit for my daughter theres a Carters/Osh, crazy 8, gap, old navy, Burlingtons or Justice store there. There is also a Michaels craft store, a kids play park next to the gymboree. Also the westgate sna ck shack is yummy (the old orange julius), torrid, a new jewelry place, some kiosk stores, the luggage store (thats been there since the dawn of time), xfinity, tuxedo rental/hemming store, ross, dim sum place, boba tea place, king eggroll is coming, as well as a poke place coming. There is a race car track place in there too, Nordstrom rack, nike outlet, the dentist (is closing being forced out after 20 years), theres a dance school, an alterations shop, a hair salon thats closing, a salon school, any mountain, jcrew outlet, old navy and on the outside of the mall fishs wild, subway, matress store, gamestop, at&t, willow street pizza, buffalo wild wings, the blue door restaurant, Lens Crafters, mens warehouse, the corner bakery cafe, walmart grocery store, some other random clothing store and a perfume outlet store. Plus there are monthly mommy& me & daddy too events. The orchid society does shows there and the chrysanthimums flower shows, etc.

Its posted that its closed at 8pm and 9 pm and opens at 9am and 10 am on some days . Well thats true for most of the stores. Except Ross and Target they have different hours they both open up at 9 am to 11:00 pm on Monday thru sat and sundays 9:30 to 10pm . But they have The mall entrance closed at the hours posted for the Westgate center hours . So remember if you come around that time be sure to park at the outdoor entance of these stores because Ross and Target are not aloud to reopen the mall entance after the mall is closed. you will have to walk all around the mall to your car if you park on the other side of the shopping center so park in front of the outside entrance of these two stores.

This mall has come a long way. Its finally worthy of its location. Great Anchor stores. Ross, Target, Old Navy, The Gap, Party City. They also have great specialty stores like Any Mountain, The container store, Michaels crafts, and Nordstroms off -the-Rack, and Wal-Mart grocery! Theres more, they finally have a fledgeling food court, and are have some pretty big names in the parking lot, Sleep Train, Comcast store, Subway, Starbucks, Buffalo-bills wings, and even a salon academy. Security is abundant and the parking is ample. They have a great kids play area too! Its still small but they are packed with good shopping.

Westgate Center is one of the newest and modern shopping complex near San Jose area. It comprises of two departmental stores of Neighborhood Walmart and Target. In addition to that its main attraction would be the good brands like Nike Factory, Any Mountain, Gap, Old Navy, Burlington, Ross, Nordstrom Rack, etc. It also comprises of good restaurants in and around the same plaza. There is enough of parking available. I guess they also have Starbucks. Kids can play in the kids zone of the shopping center. Its got some footwear store and ice cream shop. And many more that I dont remember. Check it out!

I dont have much respect for companies who push small businessess around. Just in the past couple of months they kicked out my dentist and alterations small business owners, and they plan to kick out more small businessess and replace them with big box retailers. The sad part is some of these businesses have been at the mall for over thirty years, supporting the mall during good times and the recession. This is a loss to the community and small business owners everywhere. Shame on you for not doing more to support small business. This is definitely not a family friendly mall.

This place has been recently renovated. I remember its many previous iterations, and the current one looks much better with an improved shopping experience. The mall tends to attract locals and not a destination mall like Valley Fair. It’s more of a family-oriented environment. I suppose the upside to that is that it’s never crazy crowded and parking is never an issue. Don’t expect high-end retailers here, as the anchors of Target, Ross, Burlington, and Nordstrom Rack give you an idea of what types of stores to expect.

Westgate has never been a very compelling place to shop. Target, Any Mountain and Barnes and Noble are the main draws here but there is nothing all that interesting inside the mall to make it worth going inside. It has a rather poor layout and it is usually fairly crowded despite the overall lack of shops. The area is being developed though with the addition of a Walmart grocery store and a several restaurants along the outside edge of the complex.

Ok, seriously, this place hit its peak in the 1970s and its been a long slow decline since. The stores on the outside (Target, Old Navy, Barnes and Noble, Storables, etc.) are great! But go inside and its a desert wasteland. You can hear crickets chirping. Now that most shopping centers are "outdoor" shopping centers (think Santana Row), theyd be best to demolish the mall part of this and build more outdoor stores.

If you want to come here, good luck finding a parking slot because parking is a total mess. The design of the mall is also terrible. Mall entrances are far apart, Walmart and Michaels are not connected to the mall itself (youll have to go through Ross and enter via the outside entrances) and there is only one entrance into the parking lot on Hamilton. Whoever designed this mall was obviously not that bright.

I have always enjoyed Westgate since the days of Montgomery Wards. Its not super busy with rude stuck up socialites. I can go in and out of stores with ease. Not to mention there are good places to eat and parking is easier than any other mall I have ever been to. Its always clean, only problem is they need additional bathrooms towards Old Navy to make shopping at that end easier.

Target with an upstairs and escalators for your shopping carts! On the other end is a Burlington Coat Factory. Starbucks, yay! Not many shops here. A very cute party place for girls under 14 to get their hair done with glitter and very pretty! VERY fun if you are having a birthday party and wanna get dolled up or get presents - too young for older teens.

Westgate Center Mall though small in size compared to other malls, has a good selection of retail stores. The stores include Target, Nordstrom Rack and Nike. The mall is clean and usually plenty of parking. The food court is still growing but so far has a good selection of vegetarian and non-vegeterian options.
