I liked coming to this store because it has a lot of supplies and they have benchmade knifes! Had lots of stuff and supplies. unforntunaly I will never return to this place again. There is one guy who is tall and seems to be be Indian. He is really rude and annoying. My friend misplaced an item. Customers misplace items all the time at but the employee freaked out and followed us around the store causing a big scene. I left the store because I felt uncomfortable the guy wouldnt leave us alone. I stopped going for a couple months. Then I decided to go with my girl friend. I walked in looking to buy another benchmade. I was browsing the knifes trying to pick the right one. After not even five mins of browsing the Indian guy pretty much told me buy something or leave. This really upset me and I will never spend my money there again . The rest of the other employees are nice.

It has a broad selection of hiking shoes. However, no one seems to know how to handle complaints. I bought a $102 pair of hiking shoes 5 months ago, and the sole is falling apart. It became unglued. Anyway, I went and talked to them see if they could help out, but the only thing they could say to me was "a receipt would help" I offered to bring a bank statement, he continued to say "a receipt would help" so i figured he wasnt interested in looking at the bank statement. He told me to speak to the shoe manager. I came back to speak to the shoe manager and a different guy told me that theres nothing they can do "we have a 15 day return policy"....

Prices were ok. Not very good selection of vests, but they had a lot of other things there. I was there around 2:00pm One thing that really turned me off was that one of the employees was openly bitching and moaning about customers not putting things back correctly and that he had to go back and rearrange everything. #1 isnt that part of your fricken job? And #2 dont wine to other employees on the sales floor. I could hear him loud and clear and I was three rows over from him. I wanted to tell him to quit crying like a baby get back to work! I had a much better experience all and all of the Moss Landing supply store

Customer service sucks. (Except for the exception of the two female cashiers). We were watched like a hawk, never once did the guy around shoe department ask if he could help us. He just paced around and kept starring at us with a angry look on his face. When we got ready to check out he rushed up to us and asked about a display shoe he couldnt find. The cashier checked our stuff and re assured him we didnt have it. Last time we spend over $100 there. Prices are not competitive at all. Can find better deals at Sears. Only good thing about this store is the variety of outdoor and work gear stuff all in one place.

This is a staple of San Jose. Ive been coming here since I was a kid in the 90s for Vans, Carhartt, bandanas, Levis, knives etc. If you need outdoor equipment or any military supplies, this is your store!! I like it a little better than Mels because of their prices, however, they do not sell firearms. Every square foot is used for something cool!! Great ownership too

Very good store. Right on Stevens Creek Blvd. Caries variety of good for camping, hunting, fishing, working clothes, and many more things. I am not sure about weapons or ammunition though. But I never asked, so who knows. Limited store parking but free street side parking is available. Good store for buying working boots.

High quality work wear! Bought a industrial rain proof hoodie here and its incredibly warm. Also love that the workers know exactly where everything is and walk you straight to the area where you need to be. Not like other stores where its hard to get good customer service.

Really cool to browse or get supplies for camping, the prices are pretty high but for the name brands you expect to pay as such. They have a big selection of backpacks, bags, boots, jackets, pants. Good outdoor products

Lots of stuff for camping, survival, construction/heavy industry work and clothing. Great work boot and shoe place. However, some items in their shoe line are overpriced.

The service is a little sus the only reason they even get one star I they are the only lace that carries regular fit double knee dickies. Otherwise it would be zero stars

Beware: These guys will say anything over the phone just to get you in the store. Try Mountain View Surplus instead- great selection and theyre honest.

Good selection, they got more apparel than outdoor gear. Its sad they no longer carry Condor gear, it was the only reason I visited in the first place.

Stopped in 10 minutes before closing to have look at their offerings, staff instructed me to leave. I think I know what service they offer.

Above average surplus store for being located in a city and not in a warehouse somewhere secluded. Decent selection and good service.

Decent spot for construction apparel and military surplus. For much better construction gear, hit up workingmans emporium

Great selection of carhartt, but they wouldnt exchange a "used" pair of pants that I had tried on for less than 5 mins
