THINK TWICE BEFORE SHOPPING ONLINE!! I found a component for 5.98 which is really cheap compared to other places so I decided to look it up online and it claimed to have it in all 3 locations near me. I went to my nearest location and they didnt have it and said i had to order it online. Before the purchase the website informed me that the estimated delivery/pick up date (i chose to pick it up at the store to save money) was 1-3 business days later. After I purchased the item, the confirmation email stated that the item would be arriving for pickup 2 weeks later! I made this order at 8 in the evening, i recieved the email with the delivery date as 2 weeks later (nov 12). I responded around 1am in the morning about cancelling it bc i might as well have it shipped over here. Their responding email (10:46AM ) told me i would have to verify the cancellation. So I verify the cancellation and they tell me that since they process things fast, they might not be able to cancel the order and I would be able to return it for a full refund. Summary: because of their misleading estimations and delayed response, if i wanted to pick it up I have to wait 2 weeks and drive over there. If i want to return it, i have to either ship it back or drive over to walmart anyways. oh! and when i went to go to the store before i purchased it online for pick up like the guy told me to, he told me it should be ready by monday also. So I was mislead by both the online estimation AND a in person walmart associate. I wasted time and money trying to get standard service and this is surprising considering how good customer service is in store. I think they need to improve their online policies by: Giving a correct estimation of delivery Giving ample time for a customer to cancel or at least HOLD the order if an inquiry was made before they submit a confirmed cancellation Have their online iventory check correctly portray what items are in actually store so that people dont waste their time. Guess I shouldve called.

- Poor Order Fulfillment process (Pick In Store) - Poor/Worst Customer Experience - Wait time of 2 hrs in store - Less/No knowledgeable staffs/Manager We went to this place at 7:00 pm to pick up toddler bike which was ordered online. First of all the order reached later than the expected delivery date in store. We gave 3 days advance notice to assemble the bike in store. When we reached this place , the front desk rep. asked us to wait as the bike is in assembly section. We waited there for 20-25 mins , the front desk person, switched around 7:30 pm. the new person was given enough instructions. about customers who were waiting....15 mins later no response...we inquired , she asked us to wait for 10 mins .by this time one more person joined us for the bike pickup.... We went out around 7:40 pm , completed other shopping, came back in at 8:30 pm to pick our bike. It was still in the same state. By this time 3 other customers lined up for bike pickup. Around 8:50 pm, thought of cancelling the order and was about to move out...then my order reached the front desk ...The bike wasnt assembled..All other customers (waited for bike) were asked to pick up the next day..... WALMART ....THIS IS NOT WHAT A FAMILY WISH TO REMEMBER WHEN THEY GET CHILDS FIRST BIKE.....AND YOU RUINED IT IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY...

You would think for a Supercenter it would be better. If you go after 11 pm they shut down electronics and makeup and jewelery. They follow you and treat you like a criminal. They are worried about store merchandise walking out by thieves but not worried about the safety of their shoppers. There are NO PARKING LOT LIGHTS ON AT ALL AFTER DARK. Milpitas and Security are constantly on patrol profiling shoppers in the parking lot. I drove all the way from San Francisco to see if I could buy a Nintendo DS XL and was told because of theft the Electronic Department closes at 11pm and reopens at 7. I left my basket of stuff there. That was my main purpose to go there. Where else can you go shopping after midnight but at Walmart. Isnt the concept of 24 hour shopping for convenience? I guess not. The clothing selection sucks now. They never have two things that match. Most of the employees you ask questions to cant answer the question....the list is endless. This is not a SuperCenter. This is just like the Union City Walmart but at least you can browse everything until they close at midnight.

Not a good experience. Price in store turns out to be higher than online. I asked an employee about this and he confirmed that online prices are lower and that to get them you must order online and then come to the store for pickup. Not sure how this benefits the customer especially when you read the horrible reviews about customer pickup such as items not there when they say the will be, long lines and wait times, rude employees. And the employees I saw during that visit mainly at checkout were slow, so incredibly slow. After waiting five minutes in line I had a glimmer of hope when an employee came and opened a second "20 items or less" register. However, that employee beckoned for people in the regular line to come to her station and they being 9 or 10 deep flooded to her station. I only had to wait another five minutes to purchase my four items. Oh, and two of the four items rang up at a different price per pound than was labeled at the bin where I got them. Is there a worse store chain in America?

If I could rate this a zero, I would. It is horribly mismanaged. After requesting help to purchase something behind a glass case, I heard the request over the loudspeaker and waited 20 minutes only to have another employee rudely retort, "Are you waiting for somebody to magically show up?" Once I finally had someone open the case, they item I wanted was out of stock, so I went to check out. At this point the store was almost closing. There were two giant lines snaking throughout the store, kids crying, etc. When they open another line, they just simply called it out near the end of the line. You can imagine the chaos that ensued. It took another 25 minutes to get through the line, and when a customer blatantly crowded in front of me in line and I objected, the clerk just quietly started checking out their items. THIS STORE IS NOT WORTH ANY SAVINGS YOU MIGHT THINK YOU WILL GET.

I had a fairly good experience here. Was returning an RV battery, because I grabbed the wrong one (CCA rating, when I needed a deep cycle). The lady at the front customer service made sure to give a yell at me that I needed to take it to auto, and saved me the 10-15 minute customer service line wait. When I got to the back, where auto is, the lady there was extremely pleasant, cheerful, and very efficient. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, however, because the store was somewhat difficult to navigate and overhead signs were obstructed by merchandise racks in a lot of areas. I would honestly say this is a 5 star Walmart (never thought Id say that...), if they make their signage a little easier access. Or if I become more familiar with the layout. Im going back today, so well see if that rating holds up!
