I had a nail in my tire and first called roadside assistance. They told me they would tow my car into SF Benz immeditely since the tire kept going down. They asked me if I could drive there ASAP. I said yes and I took my car into SF Benz, the service advisor at Walnut Creek Service told me to drive 1 hour out to Mercedes Benz Walnut creek on a tire that had 11 (and going down) in the tire when its normally 40. This is insane and dangerous. This is so disturbing. I will be contacting head of Mercedes Benz saying that they wanted me to drive 1 hour out of San Francisco on a flat tire with 11. My car wasnt even balanced. They also said that Walnut Creek needed to approve getting my tire fixed when I purchased the tire and rim insurance protection and I had the warranty information in front of them. SF Benz has been a complete nightmare since Ive dealt with them. I bought a car in 2015 and they ripped me off by selling my BMW taking 10,000 payoff and then charging me 600 per month for the new lease. I went in to the Service department to have my license plate put on and they damaged my car in the process. They did not offer a loaner car and they have never offered a loaner car for any of my flat tires or the damage they created themselves. I have to take a cab around the city and uber which they send you off for the one way trip. THIS IS NOT SERVICE. For paying thousands to Mercedes Benz, I cannot even get a loaner car. I will be contacting the Mercedes benz head offices and will be telling this story about how they wanted me to drive an hour to Walnut Creek on a flat tire of 11 and going down. I will not be renewing any lease with SF benz. THIS PLACE IS DANGEROUS. They do not care about your safety. All they want is money and greed is their specialty.

I love mercedes, I have owned them for many years, however I will never buy one again after my experience at MB San Francisco. The sales staff knew nothing about the car I wanted to buy, which was fine as I had done my research. Then they lowballed my trade in, without discounting the car I wanted to buy. A deal could not be made which was fine, sometimes it happens this way. Thing is, they then called me later asking me to come back the next day where they would do better on the deal. I refused and stated they seemed to have no interest in making a deal and did not want to waste my time. They practically begged me to come back and promised to do better. Against my better judgement, I went back the next day with my wife and they still tried to rip me off on both the trade in and car I was buying, making comments like Kids get suitcases full of cash from their parents in this town and drop 150k on a car These guys were arrogant, condescending and unapologetic about wasting your time. The sales guy who called me on the phone did not even show up when I returned the next day. It was poor form all round. So I went to Audi at Marin. They were AMAZING. The sales guy knew everything about the car I was looking at, gave me a fair price on my trade in (I wasnt looking for a great deal, just not a lowball like the pelicans made at Mercedes) and the whole experience made me a loyal Audi customer for life. So dont buy a car from these guys, in fact dont even get your car serviced there, Ive had problems post getting my car serviced there as well.

I think this place is a ripoff from the get go. Perhaps my 320 just isnt a big enough model for them to bother with. I went in because I couldnt get the CD out of the player and they told me that I had to buy a multi CD changer because the computer couldnt otherwise operate both the GPS and CD player. I fell for it and $1300 later I pick up the car, and of course the GPS disc comes out easily and so would any CD I put in the original slot. I complained and said they diagnosed the problem wrong so take out this multi disc thing and they said, cant do, it is used! What bull! And then the GPS was way off and I had to go back to get it fixed, and then the horn stopped working. I took the car to my regular repair guy and he said Mercedes had disconnected the electric line....I drove right over to complain, they said come back the next week and when I did, they had no record of an appointment. This is outrageous and not service but complete ripoff....

This has been a nightmare! We leased a 2016 Smartcar back on November 21. We were so excited because we had a 2009 SmartCar that we traded in and this was so much fun until the next day. The check engine light came on. We took back to have it checked out. They claim they fixed it but it came back the very next day and they have had it since. So we are paying 307.00 plus an extra 200 in insurance for a vehicle we do not have or have had a pleasure of using. When we contacted Mercedes- Benz headquarters they opened up a file and they stated it would take 4 weeks for them to decide weather it meets the criteria under state rules for them to purchase the vehicle back! What the HELL! We are being held hostage financially because of course they expect that we will continue to make the payments! Meanwhile we are driving a BASIC, BASIC 2015 courtesy car and now going on January! Do not do business with these crooks!

I spoke to one sales person, Laura, I inquired about a vehicle and I was told the car was pretty much flawless, with no exterior or interior damage. I was interested, but since I live out of state she told me that she didnt think I could do financing not even with an unsecured loan. She would check on it. I called back the next day, she said it was not possible to do. I found it hard to believe, so I called again and spoke with Allen, he informed me that it was possible to do financing, although the process might take a few weeks. I asked him to go check out the car for me which he did promptly. He sent me pictures right away, which showed several bad scratches, rock chips and a bad dent. I wouldnt be interested, but at least I found out and could move on. Laura has some work to do to become a professional. Credit to Allen who was interested in helping out a potential customer!

I had a horrible experience with Steve Lam this morning. I had an appointment at 8:15 am and was told there were no loaner cars available this morning and that I have to walk 1-1/2 block to get a rental car while my car was being repaired. I was later told the rental car can be brought to Mercedes so I waited. I told Steve I was in a rush this morning, but after waiting over 50 minutes, the rental car never arrived. I had to walk over to the rental car company and at 9:40 am, I finally received a rental car! I was also told that it was not uncommon for customers to have to periodically buy and put in engine oil because the Mercedes tend to burn oil. I never had this issue in the past with a fairly new car. I was told because I put a lot of mileage on my car. My car is 27 months old and it has 18,000 miles. I wish I knew that before buying this car!
