I cannot even start to explain how good the food is here... EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING has been amazing good. Love the Angus & Crabmeat sliders, cesar salad, Angus Burger, mac-n-cheese is amazing, oh I could go on and on. There has not been one thing that I havent had that wasnt good.. it was ALL good. Try their special dinners, off the hook too. We initially tried this because we purchased a coupon through ReaderCity ($20 for $40) almost 6 months or more and weve been back ever since (were actually going again tonight). We like coming on Friday evenings because of the entertainment... oh I forgot his name, he is the best one so far that Ive heard, we even purchased his CD, You wont be disappointed with the food, wine, service.

I only went to pick up some desserts there one evening and was pleasantly surprised by their wide selection. The man at the counter was very knowledgeable about what was in each of the desserts I asked about. I bought 3 of them and they were all delicious (I didnt eat them entirely by myself)! They tasted as though they had been made that day. Maybe I was just lucky to buy some of the day they were baking. It seemed like a nice place to have a relaxing dinner or just hang out for dessert and coffee. There happened to be live music there that night, which I think was a Friday.

If youre in the neighborhood, you MUST check out this hidden gem. I have no doubt that their reputation is well deserved for delicious desserts [the almond croissant I bought to go was outstanding] but the simple lunch menu was just what I was looking for. Why stand and wait for a sandwich to go at all the obvious places when you can try instead the roast beef with luscious side salad for 7 bucks? Big shout out to Ed Bedfords recent Tin Fork column for highlighting this place--I really loved it and will definitely be back soon. Bill the midday counter guy also made me laugh.

We discovered Bistro Sixty in 2009 when we bought a house in the neighborhood that needed renovated. Badly. We had no kitchen so we went here for lunch and dinner when we were in town working on the house. Over the last 7 years weve become friends with the staff - and still come at least once a week to enjoy dinner or brunch. Were from Iowa - and Mark (the owner) is from Omaha - so the food is very "upscale midwest comfort food." Like the food we grew up with kicked up a notch. Never had a bad meal here and glad its in the El Cerrito hood!

Monday, I called Bill this morning, ... I needed a Blackberry Cobbler delivered to my girlfriend on Vacation in San Diego. Bill said not a problem! Hed be glad to help. Took all my information, and started the order. Expected time of delivery was Wednesday... Because his chef was off on this Tuesday and he wanted to take the extra steps of making sure it is perfect. So, I told him Wednesday would be great! Blackberry Cobbler versus Roses.... Cobbler 1 ------ Roses 0 hmmmm, Cobbler Wins! Thanks Bill !

The food is actually pretty good. However, I ordered out (amazon Prime Now), and the order was not correct... soooo I tried calling to let them know (no, I dont want something free, I dont want a comp... I only want to be able place an order and have it filled correctly) and the fellow answering the phone couldnt have cared less. In fact, he didnt stop talking for me to actually say what I called to tell him.... so, perhaps at the location its fine... but order out at your own peril.

Desserts have yet to disappoint and the food is great I havent had anything to complain about and Im not a wine drinker at all but after the owner finally got me to try a glass I ended up drink the whole bottle myself ,great place to go even if you dont drink wine there is something here for anyone and everyone, keel up the good work Mark

did not try any of their meals....just the deserts And they were REALLY bad. Plus the cappuccino we ordered were only mildly tepid.....not even warm! we left having taken 2 bites of each of our deserts and a few sips of our caps. really a shame because the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice too. :-/

First of all everyone (including other patrons) were extremely nice! I had a Chicken Club Sandwhich and it was served on a croussant which was simply delicious. After I had tiramisu and that was exquisite! IOh..........had a carmel machiato that was better than Starbucks! Thanks Everyone! **** Dog Friendly ++++

My college favorite! Stop by for local flavor, camaraderie, and great food. If you have a sweet tooth or have a penchant for wine this is the place for you! Ask for the specials or enjoy the flatbread, or pasta offerings. Parking....can be challenging so add a little extra time for short walk.

Went for mothers day brunch. Didnt realize it was a set limited menu so I didnt get to try what I wanted to from the full menu. The French toast was just ok. We did get a peanut butter "bomb" to go which was quite good.

Amazing selection on wines! Friendly and welcoming staff. Mark continues to impress with his weekly menu specials; panko crusted red snapper, pork tenderloin with red cherries, deep fried avocado.....the list goes on.

One of my favorite places in the neighborhood. Friendly staff, great food, decent prices, excellent wine list, and crazy desserts. They have live entertainment on the patio during the week. Stop by and check them out!

Ordered 3 chocolate bombs in different flavors. Took them to go. They were dry like theyd been sitting out for 3 days. Gave 2 stars since they were at least pretty looking. Super bummed for how pricey they were.

Fantastic food, friendly staff, and a great selection of reasonably-priced wines. Every wine recommendation given has been outstanding and NOT an attempt to up sell. Great place to go for Valentines day.
