Completely and 100% the WORST place in town. Yes they had great selection of bridesmaids dresses and prom like gowns. Not so much for Wedding dresses though. BUT thats not why my review is a 1 STAR rating... It was Wednesday morning August 10th, about the time the shop opened, and It was my first attempt and finding the perfect dress for my wedding coming up in 3 months. I went in with my bridesmaid, hoping to buy one that day, The woman behind the counter, was not only disgustingly RUDE but had no desire to help me in ANY way nor did she even ask if we needed help! I tried on several dresses and she did not ONCE ask if we needed help, needed a certain size, or even just jump in and tell me what Ito do! The only words out of her mouth were do this and dont do that, RULES! She was abruptly snapping at us with rules on trying things on. We even ASKED her if she would take a picture of me in this dress I loved, and her response?? "I dont know how to take pictures" !!!!!! WTF! MIND BOGGLING. I was asking questions about delivery and sizing and colors available, etc. (which, for a first-time-bride-to-be dress shopping, each question was necessary and general!) She answer EVERY one of my questions with smug and short breathed negative comments. She was very short with us saying about twelve times "When you place an order with me, then I will call the company and find out." UUUHHHH Lady! I worked at a High End retail boutique for 4 years and if someone is interested in a $$$ item, ya call that company and get all the details the customer is asking for! I dont need to PAY for information that is going to AID in the process of me purchasing something. I eventually stopped asking her anything and even gave up remotely speaking to her at all. Unfortunately for her, and due to her obnoxiously rude behavior toward me and my friend, she missed out on an easy 7 dress sale that I would have had to pay extra $50-$200 for rush shipping (which was also one of her very informative answers she gave us when we asked how much for shipping... btw $50 and $200 more. Outta control) So were talking a $600 Alfred Angelo wedding gown I fell in LOVE with, PLUS 6 bridesmaid dresses that were the perfect color and beautiful style @ $134 a pop, PLUS her so-called-rush-shipping cost of "between $50 and $200 dollars" (lets just say $100 to ship), PLUS a couple hundred dollars more to alter all 7 dresses. SO her ugly rude face and stinky attitude absolutely is what made her miss out on an EASY and damn good sale of roughly $2,000. I was ready to buy and get that checked off my list, and the fact that I found a Gorgeous wedding dress and the perfect bridesmaids dresses, I would have paid whatever she asked for. Before we left, we were finishing up in the dressing room, and My friend, so smart :), wrote down the product numbers and the designer names from the tags of ALL the dresses I was going to buy, walked up to the counter to get my SugarFree Redbull back that she so rudely took away from me, and bounced! I ended up searching online for the dresses and found the exact items! and paid a fraction of the price that Campus Bridal was going to be AND the delivery time? only 2 weeks. DO NOT GO TO CAMPUS BRIDAL IN SALINAS!!!!!!!!!!!! UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING RUDELY IGNORED AND ENJOY THE FEELING OF ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE... EVEN COMMON COURTESY. If I this would let me rate in NEGATIVE stars, I would rate Campus Bridal a (-5) out of 5! TRULY DISAPPOINTING. ISince I cant rate any lower, Ill have to default rate at this shop at lowest possible... ONE star.

I NEVER right reviews but, have found them very helpful during my whole wedding planning process!! Everything horrible said about this place it so true. The lady/owner is soooo rude. I went to this shop early in my wedding planning looking for a specific dress. I noticed she carried the designer I was looking for but, when i went in there she completely snubbed me. I gave her the dress code and she said they dont carry it, it was the designers destination line. Then she said, she could order it for me if i like and i told her "no thank you, i dont want to order anything that ive never tried on" and her reply was "well im not ordering anything unless you pay for it". Well duh lady, thats not even what i asked her to do....She was very rude and this store isnt all that. Try Epiphanys in Carmel, the owner is soooooo sweet, nice, extremely helpful and her dress prices are very reasonable!!! DONT GO TO CAMPUS BRIDAL WHATEVER YOU DO!!

Its too bad that one star is the lowest rating possible, especially for this bridal salon. The store was empty, the store owner was on the phone with a personal phone call when she ended it, she looked over her glasses at me and wanted to know why I was there. I told her I was starting to look for my wedding dress for next year. She immediately tried to point me to the Mother of the Bride or bridesmaid dresses. I told her no, my wedding is going to be semi-formal to formal and I want a gown. I pulled 4 dresses that I wanted to try, she put two in the room, and told me that they would be too big but to hold them by the waist to get an idea... I tried on the two dresses by myself with absolutely no help from the store owner. Wasnt offered to have the other dresses brought in; wont be going back.

I read all the horrible reviews for this store, so I was bracing myself for an unpleasant experience, but it wasnt bad. I was just trying on dresses, not ready to buy, and the lady was pretty nice and pulled some dresses for me to try on. But unlike other places Ive gone, she didnt really try to help me select dresses or get a sense of my style. She was very friendly, but other stores were still better. There was a lot of variety to choose from though.

The best place for a Bride to order Der wedding accessories, tuxedos & invitations. The best alterations done on my wedding gown & bridesman dresses, I recommend the Campus Bridal Shop.

Do NOT buy from this store! I repeat- do NOT buy from this order! This lady is a liar & negligent! You may or may not get your dress at the right time. The owner, Theresa, is NOT a nice person, & does not work for you. She will NEVER communicate w/ you! Communicative NEGLIGENCE! Taking her to better business bureau & I even called a lawyer!

This is the worst place EVER! Should NOT be in business, no ethics, no business sense, just money hungry people who treat clients like crap. I HATE THIS BRIDAL SHOP! STAY AWAY!!! DO NOT GO IN...YOURE WASTING YOUR TIME AND THE OWNER & HER HIRED HELP WILL ALSO TELL YOU THE SAME....WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!!!

My family and I have been going to this bridal shop for years, for tuxedo rental and bridal purchases. The owner has always been respectful and helpful to our needs. Never been rude. I will continue to shop at Campus Bridal Shop.
