I went in because I saw their ad in front of their shop that is you get a free eye exam and a pair of glasses if you buy a pair. Well I thought this was a great deal when I saw it. When I went in, i got my eye exam and I came out and gave the prescription to the guy and I picked out a couple frames that I liked. Well, when I brought them up to him, he told me that I would only get half price off of the frame that I picked out unless I went and got one of the cheap-o frames so I reluctantly went and grabbed one of the less pretty frames. That was completely fine with me. I was telling him I was going to make one of my pairs of glasses transitions and another driving sunglasses because i remembered from before that i need those polarized lenses for driving in the car. So he added up the totals of both of them and It ended up that the frame was $269 and I didnt realize that before. Then the transition lenses with the better quality material was going to be another $200+ dollars for regular prescription lenses! I dont even need progressives and my moms progressive lenses with transitions were less than that at lens crafters. So I said okay since i needed it and then he asked me if I wanted other add ons and I said sure. He ended up telling me that the total price for my pair of glasses was $596!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still didnt end up freaking out because I realized that I got a free pair of glasses and a free eye exam so we went through what I wanted on my cheap pair of glasses. He wrote down everything that he "Suggested" I should get and told me that the total of those glasses was going to be an added 200 something dollars! I asked him why and he said that the AR coating and the polarized lenses were not included in the free pair of glasses price. So i told him nevermind and I paid for my prescription and left. When I went and got my quote from lenscrafters, they told me for both the transitions glasses and the polarized glasses would be $450 as opposed to around $800 which included frames that I didnt even like! NO ONE GO HERE! HES A SCAMMER....

I have been a customer of Larrys (owner) at Site for sore eyes for almost 4 years because I have been too lazy to go anywhere else (the office is right by work) and they have buy one get one free deals. Unfortunately, the owner, Larry, will do anything he can to rip customers off. I have been billed several times for options I plainly denied (protective coatting, uv protection etc.) then today I got a bill from my insurance about an eye exam I did not have that Larry had billed them with. The last time I bought glasses from him I had him walk me, step by step through the numbers of the total bill, at which time he sais, oh, I accidentally overcharged you this $200 and he still found 2 ways to overcharge me (with a $100 unspecified charge to my insurance and now this eye exam charge). Hes shady, hell overcharge you, go somewhere else
