The Shane Co. in Roseville is an outstanding store with outstanding service and friendly staff members. If you had a bad experience, I highly recommend that you go back into the store and try again. It may (or may not) have been a very busy day when you went in. If it was, the staff does the best they can to get to each customer as quickly as possible. I do know that they are currently under-staffed so they must double and triple with customers to keep the store running. If you are just an impatient customer who demands service even if that means an employee must leave their current customers and do exactly what you tell them...then thats your problem. If it wasnt a busy day, then Im sorry that happened to you because that is very UNLIKE the Shane Co. in Roseville and I hope that there was an explanation for that type of service. If you were to call the store manager and explain, he would do everything and anything under the sun to make you satisfied and I guarantee that your opinion will change about Shane Co. I am a long-time customer and have always been treated very well. I enjoy spreading my experiences and referring people to the store in Roseville. I am a man that values respect and great business so if I was ever treated like you were, I wouldnt be posting this response. Try again. Me and my gf (at the time) decided to go look at rings, and we heard many good things about Shane Co. So we gave them a shot and I was more than impressed. We visited the Roseville store, across from the auto mall. We were greeted immediately and started to work with Brian. He was great, I thought I knew a little about diamonds until he took the time to explain everything in detail. At no point during the 2 hour "learning process" did we feel pressured or belittled. Brian was extremely patient and made sure I knew exactly what I was getting… I bought the ring and my gf, now fiancé loves it. Fast forward about a month and we had to take the ring in because one of the small/tiny diamonds on the band had fallen out. Not sure if my fiancé banged it on something or if it was a flaw in the ring from the start. We took it in, and the staff was more than helpful in taking care of us. They wanted to fix it, and made sure we were happy no matter what. We had to leave it with them for a couple days and the manager even offered to deliver it himself to our home when it was ready. Needless to say, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend Shane to anyone looking for nice, quality jewelry. Most likely, we will be going back to pick out my band.

With all the advertisements that you hear about where to purchase that special something, I suggested to my fiance that we look at Shane Co. We had been to the mall for a quick overview of bridal sets, and walked away with a card in our hand. When we walked into Shane, we were happily greeted. Very crowded store as it was the middle of December, but we were introduced and asked some questions before getting started. It is a bit overwhelming if youve never looked at diamonds, let alone wedding sets, but our feelings were always taken into account before moving on. We spent a number of hours going over everything, and wound up with gorgeous rings for both myself and my fiance. Everything was explained thoroughly before we signed anything. I want to thank Shelby, and Wendy for taking excellent care of us! I will definitely go back for gifts, and would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for great customer service and a unique selection of anything you could possibly want.

I want to commend Lauren and Amy for their customer service - above all - how accommodating they were to spend hours with me and my girlfriend to ensure we selected THE RING - as there can only be one that truly captures the heart of the bride to be. Lauren assisted us in navigating the extensive selection of bridal sets including taking time to educate us on jewelry design and how that can contribute to the presentation of the diamond. Lauren listened carefully to our feedback and she provided objective comments that helped us make an uncompromising decision Amy gave us a much appreciated course on diamond selection and the different factors (the 4 Cs) that define the quality of a diamond. She assisted us in selecting a diamond that best fit what WE were looking for. Lauren and Amys attention to these details made me feel like I, and my fiance, made a truly informed decision and a purchase well treasure for years to come.

My boyfriend back in Feb, took me to Shane to pick out a necklace. He began suggesting I try on some rings. Mind you this is AFTER we had already picked out a beautiful heart shaped rose gold, sterling silver twist with a diamond in it. The chain broke on the necklace and he took it back to be repaired. Well upon returning yesterday 7.9.13 to pick up the necklace, he ended up buying me our engagement ring. Wendy and Taylor had assisted him and Wendy was fantabulous with helping and explaining the diamond we chose for the set. Not only did she help with the setting and explanation but instead of having to wait days for sizing and setting she got it all handled within 2 hours. They are all so friendly, patient and professional. Wonderful jewelry ... I absolutely love both my necklace and my ring ... Service is outstanding. THANK U ALL!!!

Average a 2.5 .... 5 for service and warranty and the store. And a zero because they said they would have my ring by a certain day and they did not. I was told there was a delay on the work (the day I was driving down to pick it up) which is fine but had I not called (thats right I had to call them) I would have never known and driven all the way to the store. The day before my anniversary was the pick up date and we were leaving in the morning for a vacation the next day. Now I have to explain why I do not have her ring on our anniversary. The ring means a lot to me and this whole experience has me pretty upset. Great place but ..... Dont get too excited about getting your jewelry pieces back on time. Bottom line: RUINED MY ANNIVERSARY!

I have been shopping at Shane, Roseville, for many years. Recently, I had an exceptional experience. I want to buy special heart shaped Ruby ear rings for my wife. They have single hearts for necklaces and they said they rarely have two that are a match to make ear rings. Well, Brian made the effort to look into their data base of stones and found a great pair. Then while I was waiting to see if they could find a ruby pair, I asked if he could find a diamond heart pair. He did and then I had to decide if I would give her the rubies or diamonds for her birthday and the other for Christmas.. I couldnt decide so I gave them both to her... She was really blown away...thanks Brian and the Shane team..nelsen
